Egypt finalizes deal with Pakistan to jointly manufacture Raad and Babur-class cruise missiles

Pakistan probably going to develop new conventional versions which will adhere MTCR rules based on existing RA'AD and Babur Missiles in this JV with Egypt. We have the example of BrahMos missile JV which is based on P-800 Oniks missile of Russia which have 800 Km range, but original version of BrahMos had only 290 Km range.

And reference of unsuccessful attempt of Egypt to acquire BrahMos missiles indicate Egypt was seeking missile having range under 300 Km as India offer BrahMos missile only with 290 km range.

We can have same arrangements for conventional RA'AD and Babur missile or some thing similar in concept which @Bilal Khan (Quwa) usually term as 'RA'AD light missile', we also have a need for such system to fill the gap between +100 km REK and 350 Km RA'AD-I, so if this happen then it mean we might have a partner to share Financial burden while all the related technology required for this venture already exist in Pakistan.

Sales of this conventional missile compliant with MTCR rules would not be an issue for many global players, we already have many such examples of sales of cruise missiles from France/UK and even from America the only country which may have issues with it might be Israel, as it will be a capability boost to Egyptian Military.

More than MTCR and the fact that news seems to be a fake merely pushed to seek someone attention, there's a grave issue to harm brotherly relations. Imagine Pakistan arming Iran or KSA with it, knowingly against the fact that both have hostilities at large. Had it to do anything but a must joint venture, I would have gone with Turkey before.

Pakistan can benefit by working closely with Turkey, as compare to Egypt without any industrial base in such regard.

Strategically speaking, Egypt try to reach pakistan.well after Indian denial. These brotherly countries always learns after a harsh treatment and bitter responses. Given KSA full support to Egypt, Egyptian and KSA loving India so also the Iran, I have no personal desire to give anything in such class capability to them.
