Education: PTI’s plan exposed

.
that is an interesting twist on things. what is your view on this,
atheist-killers.jpg

must be painful! here you want to drive Islam out of the world and then people enter in the west whom you idolise.

What aboutism. I guess I will just have to do it once in my lifetime because there is always that one dude.

- I condemn this communist **** killing X million people.
- I condemn that capitalist pig bombing Y million people.
- I condemn people dying in Yemen due to Saudi and American brutality.
- I condemn people dying in Syria and Iraq because some countries want oil and influence.
- I condemn children dying in Africa due to hunger.
- I condemn hitler.
- I condemn the Israeli occupation on Palestine.
- I condemn anything left to condemn.

Anything else?
Can I condemn what concerns my country now, like the retarded Zia and his stupidity in Afghanistan with its horrible side effects on both Pakistan and Afghanistan? No?

Oh, and by the way, don't worry. There are many atheists in Pakistan alone. Each day, the younger generations are becoming more and more irreligious around the world. There is no comparison at the moment. Religions are only growing by virtue of people breeding like animals.

.
And you don't want them to understand Newton's Second Law or something like that? Will they find the formulae in the Quran, or will they learn how to build stuff from the Quran?

Edit: I don't know how to explain this to you, if you're this thick headed. Nothing wrong with religious education. The problem here is that, schools, a place which are supposed to place heavy emphasis on critical thinking and sciences, are doing the exact opposite under the new unifying curriculum.
Get this through your head, instead of letting out your day's frustrations on "liberals, communists, whatever-the-****-you-are." Literally none of that is the point.

No, I will not say that. You're entirely, entirely missing my point. I have friends who did Madrasseh education too, to learn the Quran, I am not hating that.

But schools, they're places to learn sciences and develop critical thinking. If you dilute that part of its curriculum, and put more emphasis on the religious aspect, doesn't it defeat the very purpose of schools, and what effect will it have in technologically for the country in the future. Consider that.
This is a tall claim that should be substantiated by solid evidence. I don't think that anyone with a brain would not allow non-religious subjects to be taught alongside religious education. In fact, as an example, and i was surprised to know, that in Morocco, a country with a far higher living standard than Pakistan, children are taught religious and non-religious subjects in school together. The problem in Pakistan is not more religious education but rather hypocrisy and corruption which is embedded and enforced within the mentality, system and culture. There are many Muslim countries that have religion included within school curriculum and have a far better standard of living than Pakistan simply because social-trust factors are higher in those countries compared to Pakistan.

I really couldn't care. What is more important here is how much truth there is to what he has written. If this is true, that Government, in its bid to unify the education system, is introduced a curriculum which will force schools to hire more saints professionally, that too as teachers, and that the religious and rote-learning material surpasses even those of two big Madrasseh systems, then God help us.

In such a case, we have officially turned the wheel around 180, and are going back down the hill.

Why are you afraid of learning Islam?

so what should have Pakistan done in afghanistan! I see the leftist go ape over Zia but I know they would have welcomed the red army rolling in. those same pro reds are today's liberals!

There have been atheist from the time of antiquity they didn't pop out of the monkey, pardon my pun. If religions are growing by the virtue of breeding like animals then why aren't atheist breeding like cockroaches to compete?

Why are you afraid of learning Islam?
personal choice.

Yes, the guy who has made multiple, multiple significant contributions to the field of Physics internationally, and holds 4 degrees from MIT. Some of his political views might be very offset, but he has made very valid points here, and they're worth reading.
Yes the guy who is a known cartoon and a joker who has been proven factually wrong over and over again. The joker who can't tells the difference between international leader and University professor hates Islam result of slave mindset. Also pretty much everything he has said in this article is also a big fat lie. I can show lot of retards who have studied in Harvard and MIT and Oxford but their stupid brain remained stupid.

. . .
Lol, the audacity, the sheer audacity with which this 0.0001% liberal cockroaches act as if their stupid opinion is the voice of the nation when 99.9% of Pakistan is deeply religious and conservative and would die for Islam in a second, this nation was made for Islam, millions of men, women and children gave up their lives, wealth and honour to realize this dream and for Islam will Pakistan stand till the end of days, all u commie bugs can do is moan and groan, nobody gives a flying fck as what u slaves of the goras think, friggin subhuman freaks.

It’s just his opinion, not truth, not expert opinion. I would rather have him talk some useful about physics.

An avowed atheist and Islamophobe, Hoodbhoy's advice should not be taken on anything except the subject he teaches, if even that.

No doubt he, and his supporters, want less islamic footprint in pakistan, but it cannot happen. Pakistan is a deeply conservative and religious country.

If your streets look like this, don't expect a communist or atheist revolution.

Okay, seriously, I am noting a pattern. The most hardcore Islamists, always shouting "Islam, Islam, Pakistan, Islam" for some reason, are the ones living abroad in the liberal western countries like UK, Western European Countries, or USA. Just a side note, what the **** is up.

The ones who made an Islamic state out of British Raj, also spent a large part of their lives in Western countries.

Finally an Islamist who lives in Pakistan, and not in Europe or USA :sarcastic:

Zia 2.0, here we come.

Discuss post, not poster.

That is against forum rules.

Nilgiri my friend, you want me to give my views at a thread whose first page was composed on attacking the author and calling him 'yahood boy' and the next three on how atheists are evil and liberals are evil traitors? Nobody is bothering about the content of the article nor are they providing for and against arguments. Of course why bother to use the brain in such a difficult manner when it is so much easier to attack the author and voila. In this mess no opinion can be given friend. :)

True I skip past that stuff (de-sensitized to it lately), but it does pile up I suppose.

99% of the forum lately has become attack the messenger rather than the message too.
