We have always cared for the Jews, whenever Jews faced persecution in Europe they'd always run off to Muslim lands to seek refuge. The golden age of Judaism was under Islamic Spain and Jewish individuals rose to the highest levels of gov't in Muslim world while contemporaneously they were subjected to pogroms in Europe.
