DPRK cancels talks with South Korea and warns US

.
Why would the US want peace with NK? Comedically fat Kim Jong Un is the perfect Hollywood villain that scares the US/Jap/S. Kor masses into allowing the US to heavily militarize Northeast Asia against China. The only scenario I see the US allowing a peace treaty is that the US corporate elites, who drools over NK's cheap labor force and markets, beats out the military industrial complex.

.
The most blatant excuse in this case is North Korea's pursuit of a so-called peace deal. In reality it's more likely a ploy to buy them time.

Perhaps it is. What do you propose?

.
DPRK threatened to take action, which was stated in that article. And right know it's taking action.

Which implies that it was never serious about pursuing a "peace deal" in the first place. It had foreknowledge of the US-ROK exercises and never once did it bring up such an issue prior to the cancellation of talks.

buy time for what? Kim already got the nuke

Why don't you ask their Foreign Ministry yourself?

Perhaps it is. What do you propose?

Propose for what?

Since you seem to be convinced to know it all why don't you answer it, you are the one who brought up about buying time.

.
You know what I find so amazingly hilarious? The US was bragging about having the North Korean issue resolved LOL

Trump was supposed to get a Nobel prize for his heroics LOL

Now it is back to evil North Korea...

.
I told you so. All this hug hug kiss kiss... NK Kims are masters of taking you for a round trip around the moon. Plus what TIT did with Iran's agreement, do you really think any word TIT signs on to makes it as a concrete block?

TIT can wish for lemons from a fig tree but only prophets can make that happen.

All you are doing is playing the blame game as usual. What difference does your blame game make to this conflict? You give no solutions.

So what do you propose now after blaming North Korea for buying time?

Of course I think that it's a ploy; its actions in response to the pre-planned US-ROK exercises are indicative of that. As to why it needed to mislead others into believing that NK wanted peace, that's a question that nobody can answer (but the relative immaturity of its nuclear stockpile is a possible reason).

Continue maintaining a military presence in the peninsular & provide ROK forces with the training & countermeasures as needed, all the while pressuring Beijing to reign in its "little friend".

Oh yeah by canceling talks it bought enough time to perfect the maturity of the nuclear stockpile? Yeah who would believe that crap

LOL what possible little time can North Korea buy to mature the nuke?

North Korea was always going ahead with its program. It doesn't need to buy time from anyone.

A Korean equivalent of the JCPOA would likely require the disarmament of NK's nuclear forces, destruction of all equipment needed to enrich fissile material, and have the country subject to inspectors & visits. It doesn't take a Ph. D. in geopolitics to see why North Korea would not be so keen to sign such a deal.

Useless banter. The Americans have a habit of shouting mission accomplished when the mission hasn't even begun.

Just take this one on your chin.

Except that the North Korean government is the one pressing the Americans to shout "mission accomplished"; it's not going to work.

.
Whatever it is, China did its part.

Now Trump cant blame China for being silent to NK.
