I hadn't even heard of this politician until these riots, now imagine what your average person in Sweden is thinking watching these riots and violence. This is how you turn an average person against you, then few years later Muslims of Sweden will be complaining about the latest Anti Muslim/racist politician to emerge as a front runner in a European/non Muslim country.

The best response would have been to announce the establishment of country wide symposiums highlighting the beautiful teachings of the Holy Qur'an in every city/town, that way you would have turned all the publicity in to something positive and neutralized hateful people in one go.
