Out of curiosity.. I wanted to know...that whether Quraish tribe and tribes of Ansar(Aus and Khazraj) still exist today? Where are their descendans today?

. .
I think Ansaris and Qureshis in Pakistan belong from that tribe, not sure.

Nothing to laugh i read on encyclopedia

Even siddiaqui,farooqui,usmani and many others

The ancestral link from Medina was brought to India by the descendants of Abu Ayub Ansari who were members of Mohammed Bin Qasim's army when he invaded Sindh. Some of those early Ansaris settled in Paat, district Dadu. They are settled in Punjab, Pakistan; Panipat, Kairana, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Saharanpur, Gangoh, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Moradabad, and Lucknow

. . .
You do know some people did migrate here, right? Although I doubt there are many Qureishis or ansaris in Pakistan.

Dude,

There are more sayyids and qureshis in subcontinent than there are in whole of middle east combined. Do you believe that everyone of them has a legitimate ancestry in Arabia.

Lol no. I am just saying that you shouldn't dismiss all claims of some arab migration. I used to deny it too until I saw evidence.

Just tag Arab member...Only them who knows, especially Alhasani. Their descendents are every where in the Muslim world, even in Indonesia there are many prophet Muhammad descendents from the latest migration so the face are still like Arab.....and in West Sumatra, Indonesia, there are tribe which is called as "Qurai," until know it still exist. Based on China history since very early ages of Islam, there were already Arab villages in West Sumatra. But actually Arab villages are seen in many Indonesia provinces.

Are the Qureshis of India and Pakistan really their descendants or are they simply Indian converts who adopted the Qureshi surname to put themselves head and shoulders above other Muslims as is quite common among sub-continental muslims ?

You find brahmin, rajput, thakur converts and then there are qureishis and ansars etc etc. None of the lower castes ever converted you see.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is from Banu Hashim clan of Quraish tribe, . His descendants are all from Quraish tribe.
