Partition of India is purely due to Nehru.
Jinnah offered to compromise on everything and he only wanted stronger state powers so that the Muslim provinces would not be overwhelmed by the Hindu state.

Nehru, being the socialist, did not accpet this and stayed stubborn and could not see beyond his socialism.
End result was

Nehru did the right thing, is he had given into the demands of Jinnah, India would have become a salve to its own democracy in the long run. Also please study history before you comment, the main cause of the partition were the british and their policies.

In a long run, yes what Nehru did was right, but he had no idea that what he has done will come in INDIA's favour after his death, at the same time he has a lot of backlash to his tenure as PM, because of his stupidity we created a enemy in the name CHINA.
