Dissecting the Indian Cold Start Doctrine with Col (R) Abdul Naeem.

Even if we suppose you have a good army

Who says that Pak Army is ANY Match for Indian Army

I would say that it is NO match for Indian Army

As I said, I would refrain from responding to jingoism on either side.

But your assertions about capabilities of Indian Armed forces which are BASED on
" Media reports " are totally baseless

.
Isn't the common man in both our nations responsible for those experiences ?? They have the choice to not piss in the street or spit on the walls...

As for the CSD, won't the entire war depend on combined strength of all 3 forces ? Even if we suppose you have a good army won't that advantage be evened out when it comes to a superior air force ? Honest question, How long will the PAF withhold the IAF from having complete air superiority ? And how long will the PA last if the air war is lost ?

or partake in corruption, rape women, or blow themselves up..and the list goes on.. one can bemoan the fault of the common man.. but it is those that set examples for the common man that need to know who they are looking to change. Otherwise they can try and set an example which is not the same wavelength and wont do diddly squat to make a change.

Depends on what war.. the CSD as I have stated is not really the idea of the doctrine. Supposing that we have a good army or you bad is irrelevant, our army could be classified as uniformed property dealers for all I care.. what matters is the strategic environment on which is has to be implemented and practised... the North Koreans on paper have rust buckets for military equipment, yet the idea of their numbers and the closeness of the border areas to their barracks and SK's population centres makes them a force to be reckoned with.

The rest of the questions are also irrelevant and answers to those have been given too often.

But your assertions about capabilities of Indian Armed forces which are BASED on
" Media reports " are totally baseless

Sure, they might be. But Ill stick to them as I see no proof otherwise.

A man for the people was also by the people, first having playing in the dirt.. then having fought alongside them as a lawyer.. and only after that taking up the task to save them.
So far your call to fame is being a Bhatta, knowing how to make Tikkas.. and liking BBW women.

No he wasn't; he was always a cut-above the rest of us - He was class, dignity, honor and chivalry epitomized. He didn't spend his days chewing on paan, painting the wall with its 'pichkari' as a Desi Picasso nor did he gossip away the evenings whilst passing the crudest of jokes with his buddies at some street side sipping on tea.

Even when he hadn't a dime in his pocket or an achievement to his name; he had those aforementioned attributes. I've seen so many people in life who're just ordinary people....simple teachers driving cars that spend more time in a workshop than on the road, people who'd eat the simplest food, wear the plainest clothes but have all the attributes that Our Father had. So when I say that he wasn't a man of the People but a man for the People; I'm not talking about some Elitist version of Our Father.

I certainly don't have those attributes; I wish I did but I don't !

That is why I talked about massive Ignorance prevailing amongst Pakistani PDF members

You really need to build up your contacts in the Pakistan Army
for getting to know about India's strength

.
Came here for the entertaining comments by the usual suspects from both sides, was not disappointed. :p:

No idea of trolling by IA.. its a long term affair to get doctrines changed.. took the US military 30 years...the Indian military has only had 10 years so far. What I do know is that you guys parade Lahori Fried Fish as Amritsari fish in Indian food joints here and its fake.

Lol....so true.....but which came first?

Well, thats your opinion.. dont agree with it.. dont have to care.

Lol....so true.....but which came first?

Both did, that was just fried fish that probably started out with the Lahori Punjabis considering its "haute cuisine" culture was older.. after partition.. the some of the Lahoris that knew how to do it moved to Amritsar and that is that.

@Oscar @Horus

All discussions that we have here about CONFLICT scenarios
are based on massively outdated data ;incomplete and insufficient data
hence such discussions will
NEVER put light on the true state of affairs

If This is an ANALOGY for Pakistan Army ; and for India- Pakistan Balance of Power
it FAILS to depict the entire Picture

That is the NUMBERS on the OTHER side are Totally different
in EITHER case ; South Korea relies ONLY on Technology and US AF

India relies on BOTH Overwhelming NUMERICAL SUPERIORITY
as well as Technology COMPARABLE to Pakistan
( And in some aspects BETTER )

.
Nau is a double entendre. It not only means 9 but when used as a suffix like Azm e Nau, Hayat e nau,,, it's meaning changes to what roughly translates as "revitalize"
cmon now, it was wordplay... if you think objectively it was funny.

@Oscar

In India there is NO CONCEPT of civilians being armed ( like in Pakistan ) and being used
along side the Armed forces ; it is just the Uniformed guys ;
Army And BSF that is all

We have Never gone in that direction because it can lead
to undesirable consequences ; ie Civilians getting military training and weapons

The FLIP side is that If Indian Army falls ; then India Falls

India will then become indefensible and helpless

That is why we have to keep such LARGE (Conventional ) Armed Forces
which should be able to defend us against BOTH our adversaries

But then again the sheer SIZE of our Forces does create anxieties for Pakistan
That just comes with the territory
