Dishonesty about Indian technological development

what exactly was the point of this thread? straight up BD vs India bashing?

The point of this thread was to disprove Sanghi Indians lying about foreign technological achievement as their own. As is appropo for hyper nationalist troll behavior, Foreign technology is masqueraded as India's own, hoping less enlightened people will just get amazed at glorified Indian techno avhievement, of which there seems to be some dearth of. Such as Tejas, early Indian rockets, Brahmos etc. Which have very little 'real' development in India, made almost entirely with foreign components. Newly added is Korean trucks and Spanish buses masquerading under Tata name and claimed as 'developed in India', European made machining centers 're labeled' as Indian 'achievement' etc. etc.

Inducting foreign tech is fine, but lying about Indian achievement when it is actually foreign developed technology and where there is no Indian development done is flat wrong.

In the course of the conversation, as expected, Sanghi nationalist Indians changed subjects and tried to prove their lies as truth. But no one outside India bought it.

We in Bangladesh have all been to almost all states in India and know the real conditions, however bad they may be. Maybe not all Pakistanis do. We're fine with that.

Trying to masquerade lies as truth (Indian supa pawa syndrome) only hurts credibility of mature and intellectual secular Indians.

Lol, third rate pathological liar troll have come up with this after getting bashed all day...

Prove that this machining center is not the product of collaboration between IIT-M & Jyoti as I have already proven.

Or just STFU.

Such as Tejas,

which was designed in India...

Indian rockets

Sure, these technologies were transferred by countries who wanted to create competitors...

World's most powerful upper stage cryo engine presently in operation...

Third largest SRBs in the world...

Copy of an 'atlas rocket'

Newly added is Korean trucks and Spanish buses masquerading under Tata name

Designed at Pune. Hydrogen fuel cell bus with ISRO technology...

tata-showcases-countrys-first-fuel-cell-bus-but-is-india-ready-101.jpg

And Tata prima is a Tata product, developed across the world.

We in Bangladesh have all been to almost all states in India

The only way that can happen is by pole-vaulting for which Bangladeshis are famous for. As UN has said...

In 2013, persons from Bangladesh residing in India constituted the single largest “bilateral stock” of international migrants in the South (3.2 million).

http://www.un.org/en/ga/68/meetings/migration/pdf/International Migration 2013_Migrants by origin and destination.pdf

and know the real conditions.

A pole vaulter immigrant surely knows about the R&D happening here...For example these 7 pole vaulters in arrested in Kochi were in Kerala to spy upon the activities of VSSC, an ISRO center...

In the course of the conversation, as expected, Sanghi nationalist Indians changed subjects

Meh...You get countered, lose and end the conversation running away crying. And now you accuse Indians of changing the topic...

What better can be expected from a troll who tries to establish that one machining center is a copy of another, by comparing their enclosures....

You're lies were debunked in this post already...

But he is always back for more bashing...

Definitely not the epicenter, but still a center. For now, let's not consider all the Space, Nuclear, Synchrotron kind of stuff...

According to a new study by consulting firm Zinnov, out of $31 billion which was spent globally on Engineering related R&D, India alone accounted for $12.3 billion. This means that 40% of global budget on such high end R&D were spent in India in activities such as establishing R&D centers, hiring top scientists in this niche, and outsourcing engineering research projects into India. This is a steady increase of 8.3% compared to last year.

I think I've already talked about R&D in automotive sector, so what about semiconductors this time ?

AMD started its hardware design team in Hyderabad in mid-2008 following an acquisition and it now accounts for almost 50-60 % of the physical design work for the firm including high-end graphic design.

To boot, Intel's India centre has designed the global major's first six-core x86 microprocessor, the Xeon 7400 series. The team had planned and executed end-to-end design including frontend design, pre-silicon logic validation and back-end design.

Concludes Biswadip Mitra, MD, TI India, which has had a research centre in Bangalore since 1985: "The TI analog front end semiconductor devices (AFE) is a chip family whose development was largely carried out by engineers in TI India. Today, there is hardly any TI chip that is not touched by engineers at TI India."

Another blatant lie from a pathological liar.

That CNC 5 axes machining/ multi tasking center was developed in India, in a collaborative effort between Jyoti CNC, department of Heavy Industry & IIT Madras under the Scheme on 'Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector'.

''MTX 300 has been introduced to precision application in aerospace. Developed jointly with IIT Madras under ‘Enhancement of competitiveness in capital goods sector,’ under the Department of Heavy Industries, this equipment is capable of machining landing gears of aircraft.''

Another blunder, but that was not unexpected from you. Comparing the enclosures of machining centers & establishing similarity is what Bangladeshis would do...

But that is a 5 axes vertical machining center by Huron with two rotary axes on the table.

MTX300 is a turnmill.

5 axes machine tools have been serial produced in India for a long time & we have been exporting CNC machines since 1990s.

@gslv mk3 :

India does have some areas like space technology that it can be proud of but the truth is that it's tech
is lacking in most other areas.
If India was as advanced in all these other areas like you claim then India would not have impoverished states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

While there is nothing wrong with being proud of actual Indian achievements, overplaying this damages your credibility.

Sure we have no tech in anything else than space, lets see, which country files 3000 patents an year in USPTO ?

Even the world's most advanced nations have impoverished areas. Proves nothing.

Shamelessness has no limit, that Madrasi idiot has been exposed of his blatant lies but yet keep posting videos, images and whatever irrelevant stuff he finds in Google. Must be some disorder or what.

Haha says a troll who knows nothing about what is being discussed here...

@Bilal9 logic...

because they have enclosures which are somewhat similar....

And not surprisingly, a lot of Bangladeshis believe him...

Not like 500 and 800 US dollars per capita poor. These states make BD
look quite good lol.
The trickle down effect of an India at the technological
level that you claim would have meant that even the most
poorest Indian states would have many thousands of US
dollars per capita, and India overall would be far higher than
rest of sub continent(bar Sri Lanka) in living standards but it is not.

I know that deep down that you are a sensible and reasonable guy
so no need play this game that is not productive.

The point is we have excellent R&D in Space, Nuclear as well as fields like automotive, semiconductor (foreign design houses etc) etc & is catching up fast on capital goods, aerospace etc...

India can be proud in the following areas as far as I can see:

1. Space
2. Nuclear power
3. Anti-submarine warfare

In these areas it is at a reasonable level compared to the most advanced countries.

With some other areas, it does have a base in technology but it is massively behind and cannot hope to compete at least for the next decade at least.

I am being as honest and impartial as I can be here. Like I say if I India was as advanced as you say then it would now be near a 10 trillion US dollar economy and not at 2 trillion US dollar or so.

And nothing in missiles, particle accelerators, BMD, heavy electricals, etc ? Or automotive, industrial engines etc, where there are large number of R&D centers involved ?

We don't need to compete. We can catch up with them & then substitute imports as in case of this turnmill center.

And don't even think that we can't ever compete- we are presently involved in the development of AUSC technology competing with French/Japanese majors.

You are the same guy who was comparing PT Inka coaches with LHB?

LHB is a German brand. Licensing their technology and 'Indianizing' it does not make it 'developed by India from scratch'. In any case it's no big whoop.

Your Sanghi trolls were claiming as such so I had to correct them. Hyper nationalism is a slippery slope that leads to flat lying.

And no I don't remember comparing these to PT INKA coaches. They're not even the same gauge, I hope you're not trying to trollbait.

Lol, no one claimed that LHB is Indian design.

However claiming that it can't go beyond 100 kmph while the same does 180 kmph in trials in India is either absolutely foolish or a blatant lie...

Inferiority complex is another slippery slope that leads to flat lying.

Due to the lack of response from RITES - twenty BG LHB Indian coaches of various types were finally trial-run and load-tested by BR itself from Saidpur Railway workshop to Ullapara Junction. The coaches were all heavily noisy and problematic with the high-speed bogies (wheel undercarriage system) - even at the rather low speed of 100 KM, much less than the claimed 'high' speed of 120 KM. The speed rating is an Indian smokescreen (as usual) to charge extra money which is wholly unwarranted.

Then there is this....

In Bangladesh 100 KM speeds (60 MPH) on level ground is very common on rail tracks.

The reality is very different...

upload_2016-6-17_10-0-39-png.311048

46 Km of Bangladesh Network has top speed of 95 KMPH, that's a whopping 1.5% of the total Bangladesh railway network. 50% of the total track has maximum speed limit of 50 KMPH. and 40% of the total Bangladesh railway network has a top speed of 25 KMPH!

Thanks to @Roybot for this...

In all these areas, India is not even the equal of China, much less that of Russia or the US.

Trying to up the prestige of India with lies is typical Sanghi behavior.

Did you checked the LHB coaches Bangladesh got, what was written on them? Made in India? Or Made on Germany?

You dont remember when you compared speed and quality of LHB coaches and stated PT Inka coaches are more reliable and provide more luxury.

On other note
You yourself is a trollbait, how can a post be a trolbait in front of you.
