If there is negative impact to construction of this PP, then it will be indeed bad for bangladesh.
the question remains is there a central bangladeshi organisation that actually conducts the analysis on environmental impact of major infrastructural projects in bangladesh????
What are the sources of emission stats?
What are the alternates for bangladeshi power requirements??
NTPC selling power to bangladesh at state prices should be viewed as a positive step, it entails that India is treating bangladesh at par with it's own states and not leeching of it as just a customer to make profits from....
Obviously, they are reaping in trade.the deficits is unbelievable. And why the sudden interest in one particular project, which will certainly harm us.if India wanted to help BD by selling power.why not from NE, as promised? In that way they don't need to spend the amount in money like Rampaal.Because the existing NE setup can distribute almost same amount of electricity to BD with less cost in India's part.
