Even though the above is dubious evidence, they do not state that the PA committed those atrocities, rather it says "criminals" started killing civilians. How do we know they were not indian agents or agent provocateurs?

Yes. There was mass killings. But these were perpetrated by India sponsored Mukti Bahini. Leaders who did not side this way or the other but were prominent in Pakistan Movement in 1940s were killed. Biharis were killed. Sympathizers of Pakistan of Bengali origin were killed.
We had differences. It did not mean Bengali leaders should have sought Indian help. India was and always will be an enemy of idea of Pakistan. It has proved it in its conduct towards even present day Pakistan.
East Pakistan at least was a free country. Today's Bangladesh under Awami League is India's bitch.

45,000 Pakistani soldiers killed 3 millions people while fighting an insurgency and then hordes of Gangadeshi troops? Yeah that makes total sense. I'm sure innocent people did die, it was a civil war which meant both sides had to stoke up hatred and indulged in revenge killings.

End result is that they do not see the whole broad picture but rather just exactly whats in front of them. Meaning they lack foresight.
Once you guys understand this ...opening these threads every few months about 1971 and do Bangladeshis like Pakistanis or Pakistanis like Bangladeshis become completely and utterly irrelevant.
