I think It was done by an angry srilankan who failed to control his emotion after seeing the loss of his team.

In 2035. That's 17 years away, and rest of South Asian cities have progressed further.

A backwater city in India(Which Kolkata is not) will have more resources than Dhaka given India's finances (read tax/budget expenditure to GDP). Let's not forget many Indian tier 2 cities have built infra which Dhaka still don't have.

It would be interesting to note that Kolkata would have same metro route length Dhaka will have by 2035 in 2021 !!!

But Kolkata 'can't compete'.

Because the train have to run over a viaduct, which in turn is built over a pier ?

The 2035 Dhaka Plan calls for no less than 1200km of new roads.
I admit Dhaka infrastructure is very poor now but by 2035 it will be as good as ANY Indian city at the time.
BD government is throwing 40 billion US dollars at Dhaka infrastructure.
I wish Kolkata well but we cannot compare a capital city with a minor Indian city.

You can get to the level of Kolkata in 2021, in 2035.

BD government is throwing 40 billion US dollars at Dhaka infrastructure.

Given the construction cost in your country, that would be equal to India spending $10 billion for Kolkata.

I wish Kolkata well but we cannot compare a capital city with a minor Indian city.

Being the capital of a LDC isn't something to boast about, especially when you have GDP less than India's 'minor city'.

Then accept my sympathy

You are sympathizing him for not being a part of your LDC ?

UN has said that BD has met all 3 criteria to move out of LDC this year. It only needed to meet 2 out of 3.
Lol at Kolkata matching Dhaka infrastructure in 2035 by 2021. Does Kolkata have dedicated Rapid Bus Transport Routes, huge Elevated Expressways that allows traffic to cross the whole city or any circular ring roads?
Like I say Dhaka of 2035 will be as good as Indian cities like Delhi or Mumbai then.

I like how you are living the future today and expecting others to think that you are not crazy.

Idiot. I am talking about Dhaka infrastructure plan 2035 that has been fully costed and funded. First part of the plan is already in construction.
If you have nothing useful to contribute, get lost.

You'll only move out in 2021. Till then, enjoy the tag.

Lol, why shouldn't it have the same? If they can build 120 km metro lines in 5-6 years, they can do that as well.

There is a multi billion dollar central government program for all that, named 'Bharatmala'. Read up.

So where is the construction of all this infrastructure like elevated expressways and ring roads going to start to be completed by 2021?

I have seen some video on Kolkata new town including this one and thought, this is the only part of Kolkata along with salt lake city which is comparable to Dhaka in development. Other places of Kolkata looks like times stand still in 1950s.
