What's new

Dhaka attackers followed controversial Indian Islamic preacher Zakir Nayek

The only thing i was wondering is how the hell did he become a medical doctor. I was surprised to learn that :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

His patients must than heavens for Naik choosing a "higher" calling :D

My favourite was when he defended being able to marry up to 4 wives by saying there are more women in the world overall, so some instances of polygamy are needed to balance out the surplus (otherwise there would be women left without husbands if everything was 1 to 1).....without realising (or ignoring) that the larger number of women stem from the much higher number of elderly past-fertility grannies (due to longer lifer expectancy of women)

In India, there are less woman per man.
So, shouldn't woman in India be able to marry multiple husbands for balance? :cheesy:

Naik, a popular but controversial Islamic orator and founder of Mumbai-based Islamic Research Foundation, is banned in UK and Canada for his hate speech aimed against other religions. He is among 16 banned Islamic scholars in Malaysia.

He is wildly popular in Bangladesh through his Peace TV although his preaching often demeans other religions and even other Muslim sects, the report said.

Question, why is this guy not banned in India? Is it because Indian authorities use him in against Pakistan and Now Bangladesh.
he has Hugh popularity in Indonesia too may people follow him

He is not banned because he is useful not because banning him will hurt Muslims ↓↓↓

So your claim that this is because politicians don't want to hurt Muslims is far from the truth as he is also a danger to other Muslims with in India.

There is such a thing called being too clever by half.

What the Indian member said is accurate: there is a great deal of sensitivity to Muslim feeling and sentiment. Don't go by what the dregs of society - parliamentarians included - have had to say, and by what the criminally lunatic have had to do. The vast bulk of Indian society is touchy about Muslim feeling.

That is the only reason why this fool remains scotfree.

In my opinion, he should be prosecuted for stupidity. Unfortunately, our laws are inadequate; the stupid get away, whether they are Hindu, or Muslim, or Christian, or Sikh or any other brand.

Brilliantly said.
Lives of people are always greater than religion.

But he's such a joke! He is a doctor of medicine.
Naik really urged all muslims to be a terrorist?

i seriously doubt Nayek preached that....he's not an extremist mullah AFAIK

Nayek sympathizers inbound.

Never knew people took this joker seriously.

he's more than that

Never heard he is telling anything remotely promoting hatred towards other religions or extremism.

You havent seen the video where he calls on muslims to be terrorists towards the US and others (because he personally perceives the US to be a terrorist etc).?

There was a German taxi guy I met in UK he asked me if ZN is a big star in India...he was sad that ZN was banned from entering the UK Many videos of him that are subtitled in Indonesian.I guess he is quite popular.

People should google search Zakir Naik's 2+2 Logic to explain why temples and churches are not allowed in Saudi.
It's one of the most moronically hilarious explanations I have ever heard. ;)

There is no such thing as peaceful preaching..the very fundamentals of any religion is deeply ingrained in violence and terror..it is just a matter of gaining strength by number..religion is an organised institute of psychopaths..

I will NEVER contradict any of your posts in future. My respects.

Never heard he is telling anything remotely promoting hatred towards other religions or extremism.

I've heard him perhaps half a dozen times. He's preaching hatred ALL the time.

Just because of that? Being right in one realm doesnt mean you are right in every realm :D

By default any one "ASKING" others to convert are preaching hatred.
The only way you can "preach" your stuff is by comparison and showing the other religion as not as good as yours. That over time breeds resentment and hatred.

Naik has been doing this for a while now.

Good enough for me.

IMHO that is the root of all evil.

Maybe a bit of a broad brush here. At least in the context of present times.

All religions do not preach and proselytize. Some are very comfortable within their own. To the point of militant exclusionism.

Not one. They are all the same. Virulently, epidemically so.

PS: With one exception. You double-faced slime-ball. And you know bloody well I was referring to the Arya Samaj and ghar-wapasi.
