We TURKS never will forget about how Russia and Iran betyared Turkiye in Idlib
and now in Libya

But somehow imports from the USA rised, but heeey they never betrayed Türkiye, real brothers.

First of all you should know the mindset of mbs and mbz . Can you remember when Aramco was hit by Iranian or huthi drones , what stance was taken by mbz ? Silently he changed his stance and when US was blaming Iran for tanker attacks, mbz told that it was not done by Iran . MBS has a delusion that if KSA is hit by Iran , US will demolish Iran . But after Aramco incident, now he is free from overwhelming.
If Turkey blame UAE for any atack on Turkish interest and declare war and hit for a short time say one or two day , who will come to rescue UAE ? There will be some criticise from Oh I see (OIC) .

We needs to protect balance of power
The US is not 60% .... only 11%
Russia is 12,7%

Terrain in northern Yemen is mountainous. This is why KSA can't take northern Yemen except the coast. Marib is flat desert that's why Houthis can't take Marib. Libya is flat desert where air power is most effective.

Turkey needs Qatar to build up military. After KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait banned Muslim Brotherhood they threatened to invade Qatar to depose the sheikh who supports Muslim Brotherhood along with Iran.

Decreasing imports of CHEAP Russian gas, but increasing imports of EXPENSIVE American LNG.

Is it smart to involve foreign policies into your energy imports? Those small % changes are billions of $$$ we could spare by the way.

every year Turkiye pays $45-50 billion to buy oil/gas ( over %50 of them was always from Russia )
that means 10 years x $20-25 billion = $200-250 billion to Russia from Turkiye for buying oil/gas

We TURKS have brothers to buy oil/gas from Azerbaijan,Kazakhstan,Qatar and soon Libya

In this chart in 2019 the sizes of 33.38% and 28.72% look fine. In 2020 the same percentages exist, but now 28.72% is much smaller than 33.38%. This doesnt look like an unintentional error. I wonder what agenda they are trying to push.

Erdogan is so smart politican who makes Turkiye as energy hub .... Turkey has a very important geopolitical advantage in the region

( TANAP from Azerbaijan , TURKSTREAM from Russia ) and now Turkiye can sell cheap American gas to Southern European countries that do not want Russian gas such as Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Albania


and who said Russian gas is cheap but American LNG is expensive ?
The US now offers natural gas to the market at half the price compared to other countries including Russia

While natural gas transported through pipelines does not allow price changes due to high project costs and long-term contracts between countries .... but LNG transported by ships stands out in the spot market with its faster, cheaper cost and flexibility against price fluctuations

In this context , Turkiye turned towards LNG where it has a cheaper and flexible payment opportunity compared to pipelines

With the current prices on the world markets the liquid gas Turkey imports from Qatar, America, Algeria etc is much cheaper than the Russian gas that comes through the pipelines connecting Turkey and Russia and is with a price that was negotiated through a contract and is with a fixed price. This is the only reason why currently the Imports from Russia are decreasing so much.

Especially now with the corona/economic crisis the world is flooded with cheap oil and gas.
