I have a doubt hope I ask here. I am seeing the ads(in TV) of some private universities like Amity,Apple,Sarada(IINM?),Lovely etc. Where do they stand? Does their Degrees valid? OR are these Deemed Universities? most of them are in North India.

All of these colleges you mentioned are not as good as Govt colleges and SRCC, those students usually wish to go. Most of them like Amity, Lovely are deemed universities and their degrees are not as valuable as DU.

back when I was duing grad. in engg(97's), all colleges has to be under a university and AICTE Certification was a must.
