I remember a few days ago, Some Indian named Contrarian opened up a thread saying that Muslims are not peaceful ect.

I remember La Bong saying we should not talk about our Muslim population here in a Pakistani forum.


So how is this the site's fault?

They are just providing a medium to express your thoughts.

Yes it was incumbent upon India to first try and resolve the matter or provide us with a means to resolve the matter quietly and discreetly.

call me tyrant...but i'll support jailing even 1 innocent along with 10 guilty if it matters with the lives of citizen.There is no doubt GOI's has woken up late and messed with the situation.but then dair aaye durust aaye.now in present situation first job of the GOI to stop the spread of rumors thats what it is doing now on internet.

This is GOI's mess and it was sleeping on job but then corrective steps are required to bring situation to normal hence this curfew on virtual world has full support.

Just to point out a difference in your support to freedoms and mine is that when grave offense of posting highly inappropriate pictures of the Prophet were posted on FB, youtube, JP, I was against banning them too.

Its a matter of public record - I fought those measures. When Geo was attacked - I fought against that too. Tum logon k hiyan toh sirf list banti hai, we have hit lists. We didn't care, whats right is right. Freedoms - that too the freedoms of Pakistan - are more important than my life. I would gladly risk my life fighting for freedoms, equal treatment of all Pakistanis.

If there was mass panic and rioting - there are bigger issues at play here which you are not addressing and just jumping upon your own freedoms.

As was the case when Pakistan requested FB to restrict access to those blasphemous pages. FB complied, twitter didnt and only then twitter was briefly censored.

Oh BTW, the orders to restrict access to blasphemous content were based on Court Orders unlike the case here, which most websites (including FB and Twitter) as a policy agrees to comply with.

Later Twitter also gave the following statement: "it's Twitter's policy is to comply with local court orders regarding content, but it received no such notice from Pakistan" (a separate debate), but the fact remains that had GOI issued any notice to these websites to remove the 'communally sensitive' content and still if the website didnt comply, the blocking was justified, but that isnt the case now.

Look, we are not decrying anything other than what is a person's right when wrong claims are made against them.

We did not publish anything, you the users did. We have a history of allowing users to run debates as they see fit, only reason it was removed still was because it was too graphic... If it was wrong info, simply point it out.

Other than that you are ignoring that we are being DDoSed, your service quality of this forum is affected. You don't realize how unfair this is. By releasing that list India painted a target on us for all Indians who have the skills to attack us.
