But there is no such thing as a "temporary" resignation, hence the demand is a disingenuous way to disguise the real grab for power, and one that fails totally.
I agree with you about the real intentions but I still think the PM can resign as PM, and some other person can take the role of PM--PMLN has a large majority of its own. There is nothing stopping from that scenario from happening even if we don't use the 'temporary resignation' term.
BTW, I am dead set against the PM resigning even for a day! Let the thugs rant all they want. If they are going to force the Army to mount a coup then let it be an OPEN COUP! The real marches will come when 11 out of 12 parties of the Parliament, Lawyers Bodies, Civil Society, and Judiciary will agitate...
