Cygwin support: MPI

I am trying to compile an mpi program using cygwin, I have all the required header files but I get an error saying I do not have stddef.h the packages I installed have this header and the compiler is supposed to automatically pick it up. Any suggestions to what I should do ?

The caveman's hack would be to put your header file at the same place as your source.
