What's new

Criminal negligence and shameless state silence on Mullah Mansoor targeting

Buddy if you are dependent on someone you cannot make decisions yourself all the chest thumpers crying over violation think that our relation with US is same as our relation with India which is not the case you dont make decisions with an empty pocket
Everyone blames Musharaf for fighting America,s war if there was any other leader he wouldve done the same thing

Butt hurt nationalist need to understand that till 2011 drones flew from inside of Pakistan (who knows they may still ha e base in Pak)
Seymour leaks proved one thing that Pakistan aids US way more than we civis know of we just dont tell it to avoid backlash
Firing at loc ia different from firing at us drones if Indian soldiers die at loc the worst scenario is increased skirmishes at loc if us drone is shot down worst scenario is sanctions

Titled Why the boys want to oust Nawaz

.
There are many our wanted sitting in western countries. We they let us do that same dirty work there?

Its not the question of letting one do the dirty work, its the matter of capability.

Pakistan does not have capability to stop US from doing this in pakistan, where as pakistan cannot even imagine of doing so in USA.

As the saying goes, jiski laathi uski bhains.

Nawaz and Shebaz have different views on it Nawaz wants to be Tayib Erdogan but Shebaz is more realistic and wants them to be Zardari like in dealing with Army

We can shoot a subsonic drone but do we really want to and face sanctions and break old deals is the question

.
I am a bit confused..... What is the real issue?

1) Killing taliban leader inside pakistan??
2) Drone strike inside pakistan?
3) Killing a friend inside pakistan?

Why people are so mad on this issue?
None of them your issue:coffee:

Thats what i meant by capability.
Shooting down US drone does not wither away just like that without reaction from the sole super power.
Simply put you do not bite the feeding hand, coz then the same hand will stop feeding and slap you.

.
You can act tough only if you are not dependent on them which we are not in Musharaf,pp and noon era we gave tjem permission to carry out drone strikes we even helped them find the targets

The tough talk is only talk our relation with USA is very one sided we cannot negotiate on equal terns its easy to shoot a drone even a manpad can do that but do we have the political and economical strenght to do that?

بھرکیں مارنا آسان ھے ھم اصل میں ایک کمزور ملک ھیں جو دوسروں پر ڈیپینڈٹ ھے
Ab keya baddak bhi na maren:D:

It is very convenient for hyper-nationalists to go on about Pakistan's might / resolve and then conveniently resort to the "might is right" argument when it comes to confronting the US. There have been numerous examples of smaller States tackling more powerful ones, but it requires a fair degree of skill/statecraft and courage (neither of which our political or military leaders seem to have in any adequate quantities). The silence is shameless (toothless statements aside) and the lack of resignations is a recurring joke.

There are many ways to deal with the US by effectively creating a counter-narrative and correctly using our leverage over them (i.e. over the Afghan end-game, over NATO supplies, over real or imagined global threats emanating from FATA, over becoming even closer to China, etc.) --- but the bottom line is that it seems nobody in the government / civil service or military has the spine or the intellect to do this. Of course the US has a number of tools at its disposal to bring the pain, but I believe we make it far too easy for them to monopolize the leverage balance in our relationship.

Also, just a technical point: while our Armed Forces did agree to coordinate drone strikes and even offered the US various air bases over the previous years, the US still unilaterally takes out some targets --- usually the ones allegedly supported by our Deep State.

Those tasked with defending our sovereignty should speak up.

.
The anger is not that asshole Taliban leader was killed but its about the drone strike into Pakistani land without our consent.

.
According to the title, If Afghan taliban are our enemy then US Drone attack and killing of Mulla Mansoor is a special help of USA with Pakistan.
If Afghan taliban are our friends then why Pakistan help Afghan taliban and keep them in Baluchistan?
Or we fight the war of the others in the sole of Pakistan and why we kill our people our selves? Is it the service of Pakistan?
Or we fight the war of Pakistan? or of the others?
It is a question and to be a question for ever.

.
Enough is enough dude.
Where is thank you raheel shareef brigade now.
Why there is so much silence on part of military establishment, as if they have nothing to say in their defence
no one in pak has the spine to stand up against USA. we bow to Allah in mosques and bow to USA in our hearts.

.
People like you make it worse for Pakistan.
Go and stop the whole world who is laughing at us and bashing pakistan. We are playing the double game in an idiotic manner. Dare to accept the truth

Its a drone strike inside settled areas not the tribal areas.

Mullah Mansoor Taliban chief got killed and now world raising tough questions why we are harbouring them.

He had a Pakistani pass port and cinc, who the hell issued him official documents.

We are still stuck between good and bad Taliban's.
