The Pakistani territory of Gwadar is very famous for its port which is also under the eyes of Pakistan's rival country India including Iran.
It was not a part of Pakistan from the beginning but owned by the Oman government. Gwadar was bought by Pakistan from the Oman government.
Gwadar was purchased by the Pakistani government on 8 September 1958, but the area officially became part of Pakistan on 8 December 1958.
The government of the then Prime Minister of Pakistan Feroz Khan Noon in 1958 for the purchase of Gwadar from the then Sultan of Oman.
