Cow slaughter to be punishable by life sentence in Indian state

But you had no problems earlier in claiming to be from a Hindu lineage :cheesy: Why this sudden reluctance ?

There are plenty of Hindus who have Major issues with consuming beef. Most if not all, tend to give up beef once they outgrow the age of peer pressure and experimentation.

Now tell me, what does "Narayana" mean, surely you must know that ? Its a very fundamental question.
Because I come across your kind daily, and it's not worth it. If your intention is to bestow upon me some devine knowledge from some ancient books - thanks but no thanks.

LOL... If you are from Kerala, "Narayan" is your historical legacy. Don't you celebrate "Narayan jayanti" as the Biggest festival in Kerala ? ..... popularly known as "Onam". Sri Narayana Guru is one of Kerala's most famous gurus, and the leader of your backward class.

Only a christian will reject the name of "Narayan" and deny Kerala history.

I can only laugh at your pitiful attempt. You first ask me what Narayan is, to which my obvious answer would have been Vishnu not your twisted logic to act the usual sanghi way ---Sree Narayana guru jayathi ...POPULARLY known as ONAM!! Yea right.

That man preached for everyone under a single caste, single religion and a single god (oru jathi, oru daivam, ore matham). The idiots then went on to create a new Caste! Don't make me bring up history, not the Sangh taught one.

Cheers.

LOL..... you are wrong at almost every point.

1. Sree Narayana guru Jayanthi is not the same as Narayan jayanti.

2. Sree Narayana guru jayanthi is the birth day of Sree Narayana guru.

3. Narayan jayanti is the same as Onam, also known as Vamana Jayanti.

4. Finally "Narayana" is also the name of Vishnu, but that is not what I asked you. I asked you what does Narayana mean.

Narayana in sanskrit means Nara-Ayana, Nara = Water, Ayana = entry point, abode.

Narayana means the consciousness that permeated the water / came out from the water.

And this was a couple of Thousand years before Darwin claimed that life originated in the water and his theory of evolution.

Vishnu means Vishwa-Anu , Vishwa=universe, anu= length, i.e. consciousness that stretches along the length of the Universe. Anu also means the atom, so Vishnu is also the consciousness that exist even in the atom.

It is the same consciousness that entered the water and gave birth to life.

The sanskrit word for Man is "Nar" i.e. Life that came from water

I am not wrong at any point. Hardly anyone in general public cares about this Narayan Jayanthi or Vamana Jayanthi you get taught in your shakhas and RSS class. Secondly, you are such a typical sanghi. I wish there was more colour to your kind in kerala.

Cheers.

LOL...... there are plenty in the real world who are intelligent and knowledgeable about Hinduism and History.

Just because you have been divorced from your past due to christian influence it does not mean the rest of the world shares your views.

Onam is one of the biggest festival in Kerala and here you are claiming that no one in Kerala cares about it :cheesy:

Best you can do is cheer the church while children pay the price of your ignorance.

Baaah. Mallu fighting.

Like watching schoolgirls at knitting beesee.

I went with the Saudi example as it is close to your heart and it would be easy for you to comprehend.

Coming to US, polygamy is banned in US. So Muslim Indians coming to live in US would have to live with it no matter how much they are used to that sharia option back in India and how much painful it may be without it in the US.

Hope you got it.
My comprehension skills are quite good irrespective of whether the subject being discussed is close to my heart or not.

If polygamy is banned in US, then it affects Indian Hindus more than Indian Muslims as polygamy is more prevalent amongst Indian Hindus despite it being illegal for them. That speaks volumes.

Practice of bigamy is prevalent more among Hindus

Virulent vegetarianism: First they went after slaughterhouses. Then they turned to meat shops. Next they will invade our kitchens. That is not all. Yesterday beef was taboo. Today it is mutton. Tomorrow it will be fish and fowl, and eggs too. Let us be warned. The vigilantes are on the rampage and Uttar Pradesh is only their latest stomping ground.

Indian government commitee to investigate health benefits of cow urine

New Delhi, India (CNN)Can cow urine cure cancer? India's government is creating a steering committee to answer that question, among others.

Housed at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, the committee will review research proposals about cows and recommend them for funding to the Ministry of Science and Technology. The aim is to create a national coordinated effort on cow-related research.
One of its first proposals is to investigate the effects of cow urine on diseases ranging from cancer to dengue, said Dr Kavya Dashora, a committee coordinator.
"It's established the world over that the urine of cows has antiviral properties," said Dashora, who is also an associate professor with the Center for Rural Development and Technology at IIT Delhi. "We just need to scientifically validate it."
"It's a part of our culture, [but] just because it's a part of our culture doesn't mean we can consume it blindly," she added.
Sacred cows
In Hindu-majority India, many believe the cow is sacred and often call the animal the "cow mother." Cow milk and ghee, a type of clarified butter, are widely used in Hindu religious ceremonies.
The cow is not only valued for its dairy products, but also for its urine. Those who use cow urine believe it has the power to promote wellness and even cure illness.
It's become a bustling business, however, it is unclear how much the industry is worth.
Virendra Kumar Jain, founder of Jain's Cow Urine Therapy Health Clinic in the central Indian city of Indore, said that the interest in cow urine has grown strongly over the last several years.

At his clinic, he offers therapy derived from cow urine for patients suffering from a myriad of illnesses.
"It works very effectively for all diseases," he said. He says his health clinic has also grown and now has 19 doctors on staff.
Cow urine has also found its way into the personal care and home products market. One of India's biggest traditional medicine brands, Patanjali Ayurved, sells a range of products based on cow urine, including a drink and floor cleaner.
Marketers often link urine-based products to the Hindu identity and the ancient Ayurvedic practice of traditional medicine. Last month, Patanjali drew criticism for an ad in which it equated purchasing its urine-based cleaner as a step toward stopping cow slaughter -- a practice banned in many Indian states.
Government funding
Since the election of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, cows have received dedicated support and focus in the form of government funding.
One of the earliest programs Modi's government launched was the Rashtriya Gokul Mission, which allocated $5 billion to improve breeds of India's indigenous cows and to increase the animals' milk productivity.
The idea for a national committee dedicated to cow research was floated in December 2016 when scientists and businessmen gathered from all over India for a workshop.
Dashora said the committee's other projects include one where scientists will create a chip that can identify which type of milk is being collected and is healthier for consumption, and a plan to develop national standards for the industry

The difference being educated Hindus coming to US do not practice polygamy. It is mostly done by the lower income groups in rural areas as legally Hindus cannot follow polygamy in India and Hindus cannot have multiple registered wives in India.

On the other hand, Muslim Indians can legally have multiple wives and they can register as such. So Muslims are used to this luxury which they have to forego when they come to US.

Did you get it yet?

So despite the fact that it is illegal for Hindus to have multiple wives in India yet they outdo Muslims who are used to this "luxury". Hindus I must say are real desperate. No wonder it is banned for them. I can only wonder what percentage of Hindus would have had multiple wives if it was legal for them.

MS Golwalkar the RSS extremist was the one who suggested cow mother propaganda to be used as a tool to build Hindu Nation. RSS-BJP successfully test fired it. Now, the other RSS hero, the coward (Bheer) Savarkar who advocated that foreign races and religions have lost Hindu-ness/Indian-ness since they left Hindu bastion to the Abrahamic religions. This mad man who was a British bootlicker (He wrote apology letter and promised to be a slave of British if he's released) suggested that the infidels (Christians, Muslims) be stripped off of every rights and be left to rot in ghettoes as Dhimmi's (2nd class citizen). I hope RSS-BJP may not be planning to amend laws indirectly to take over landed properties from Muslims and Christians so as to make them suffer for their choice of being non-Hindu Abrahamic religion followers. Also, it should be noted that it is RSS which is enforcing all this evil rule under BJP garb.

I strongly believe it is Italian Fascist Mussolini to be blamed for the destruction India is going through under the hands of Hindu extremists. How? Mr. Mussolini welcomed the Chaddi Balkrishna Shivram Moonje to be a student of fascism. This man, B S Moonje is the terror king pin who influenced to the creation of RSS, the fascist organization. It is another matter that Hedgewar and others successfully patched the organization's ideologies with Nazism later on. The Wretched Chaddis!
