Congress turns against Pakistan

.
For the benefit of Pakistan please stop all aid. Our tax revenue collection will not be fixed until we are in a real money crunch. Pakistan in this census will have a population of 192+ million people and we only have 1 (one) declared billionare in the Forbes List $$$$$$$. Once we catch tax evading zars and fix the revenue collection, we should not require foreign aid.

This is not good, right when extremists are at their peak in pakistan if US abandons pakistan again then it would be hard for liberals there to fight extremist. Instead of just killing few terrorists US should do something about killing extremists ideology by helping pakistan build its education system in more effective way.

An excellent development, from my point of view -- because some where along the line the US and her populations must be given the space to ask themselves why it is that the US has such terrible relations with Muslim majority countries --It's can be understandable if if it had poor relations with one or two, but it is despised and reviled --- "Why? Why do they hate us"? US populations keep asking, and are thus far satisfied, that all Muslim majority countries drink from a poison well, a well which marks them Muslim.

Regardless of the specific problem burning headlines, there is a deep and growing problem that is inexorably placing the US on a path, she may come to regret (what's life without regrets?) -- and perhaps some good may come from it.

As for Pakistan, she must be weaned off the poison of "Aid", of living off the hard work and taxes of peoples thousands of miles away - and as for the elites of Pakistan, they have arrived at a fork in the road as well, where do they belong? An ill wind is not so slowly building and these elites must decide where they will have their stand, because, whether in Pakistan or outside it, make no mistake they will have to make a stand.

A terrifying chaos before good may be created from destruction? No, certainly not, though it remains to be seen if Pakistan can negotiate the constraints it's adversaries place in her path - but if a friend is to be lost, more are to be gained - for long, Pakistan have been threatened by the so called "unleashing" of the Indian upon her - as if after millennium of slumber, a self aware India is in a rush to have all that it has built and will build, sacrificed for the benefit of those thousands of miles away, who even now, remain unaware of the recklessness of fanatics who have put to risk their very way of life.

Webster Tarpley???
Is he the President of China?
Or the Defence Minister of China?
Or the Foreign Minister of China?
Or the Commander of the PLA?
Or some bus driver in Beijing?
Who's this guy? :azn:

No, he's a white American with an open mind & great knowledge. He's also a graduate from Princeton University.

the US pressurised pakistan to do this......
BS. No one pressurized Pakistan in to this mess. It was Pakistan's policy of looking at Afghanistan as its backyard that got it into this mess. When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, it was Pakistan who first started supporting Mujaheedin against the "Godless Communists". When US saw a chance of giving SU its own 'Vietnam', it jumped right in - by providing money to ISI to fund these mujiees. Never was US in any direct contact with the fighters. It was all managed by ISI.
SU left Afghanistan, not because it didnt win wars, but because it had no clear political objective for Afghanistan. People fail to realize that military is an extension of politics - to be used wisely. Su won almost every military battle and wars in Afghanistan but its political machinery failed! Coupled to this was the rising political turmoil in Moscow. SU didnt leave Afghanistan because of Pakistan. Get that into your heads!
After SU left, US stopped cash flow to ISI. It was ISI who left the mujees high and dry without a goal. Realising their potential, ISI then turned these afghan mujees to Kashmir. I have heard stories from my Kashmiri friends about Afghan militants in Kashmir.

Dont blame others and keep digging your heads deeper into Baluchistan desert! Stop blaming everyone else for your incompetence, lack of foresight, lack of vision, and for all your mistakes. You, yourselves are to blame for the all mess you find Pakistan in today and a large part of that blame goes to your highly esteemed army and its uber esteemed secret service - the very 'competent', capable, (in)famous ISI!!

Ah here goes another bharati with his deluded crap.

No, it was WoT that has brought the region where it is. Not what your delusional fantasies say.

And WoT was started by 9/11 that Pakistan had little to do with. Refer to posts 54 and 61.

you are forgetting that terror was their and so only war on terror happened.just like when you have cancer you treat it and destroy it with radiation but in that process you also loose some good cells .so to root out the terror you take some damage .if you don't treat it, you might look good out side with good hair and pretty face but eventually it will kill you..unlike cancer terror will kill you and it will spread to your neighbours and to the entire world also.

Sorry mate, not sure what that has to do with what I said.

What he meant was that the terror machinery was already in place following SU's exit from Afghanistan. It was PA and ISI who nurtured, nourished and funded these terrorist networks based on a very short sighted India-centric vision.

It was only a matter of time when those terror networks became ambitious on a global level and struck US. Of course US retaliated. So dont blame US or the rest of the world. Blame yourselves for this mess. Stop digging into the sand.

For all your paranoia about world being intent on targeting 'innocent' Land of the Pure, if the powerful countries wished to do so, it would have happened long time ago, Chinese 'threat' not withstanding. Get real! Geez, India did it way back in 1971!! How long do you think it would take for hyperpowerful countries for a repeat performance? No one is interested!!

Like a diplomat recently said, "Willful denial is the norm in Pakistan.

Hard times ahead for pakistan. AID is major source of foreign exchange. Without AID currency will devalue a lot and hyper inflation will be reality.
Riots on the street. Security situation will detoriate. Remittance other source of foreign exchange will stop soon with worsening security.

Good luck pakistan.

There are many things I do not agree with and there are things we can't deny I have to agree with.
Govt is answerable to many Questions ask by US and The World.

I would be glad if the Aid is completely cut off. But Pakistani Government is just ready to bankrupt Pakistan under all circumstances, According to one of the politician Pakistanis must pay for what they have done to the party so it reminds me of benazir explaining she will eradicate "poor people" rightly she did and is followed by M. zardari's revenge. PML-N will follow with their revenge ..

“My position is we need to know where Pakistan stands in the world of terror,” Poe said in an interview.

Well, I say Pakistan definitely stands way behind you in this regard.

Sorry mate, not sure what that has to do with what I said.

you often said that war on terror is what hurting pak and economy etc so just wanted to remind you that an agreement with such terrorists will not be that good in long run for pakistan and especially for india as we fear they will then be directed to us more than what we have seen till now.so root out the terror even by taking some pain and damage for short time.

The denial and ignorance is coming from you.

Pakistan didn't create or support Al Qaeda. In fact US did. And where the region finds it self in is due to that and WoT. A senseless war for which Pakistan was hardly a reason for. This OBL incident has taken attention off the fact that US is heading in the same direction of soviet union due to such senseless foreign policies.

Let me cut it out for you. Taliban was ready to hand over OBL, provided that US gives them evidence that OBL was behind the 9/11 attacks. Bush acting arrogant, saying something like "We know he was involved, we don't need to prove that" and started a senseless war. Taliban didn't like OBL very much anyway, so they would've handed him over had the US provided the proof. That senseless decision by the US is what has led to where the region is today, not what you deluded bharatis want to delude yourself into believing.

Your whole post seems to be diverting away from that and it's clear you want to make yourself believe things that are only true in your imaginery parallel univerise.

My point was about deluded bharatis that say that only Pakistan is responsible for where the region is.
