Russian one shares lots of similarities with the MI family of choppers that Pakistan has been operating for quite a while,
Zulu afterall is a highly upgraded Cobra and we even have the infrastructure for it too.
Logistically the new options are z10 and Atak,
However we have had a history of operating Chinese Systems and I think intergration of Z 10 wont be that big of an issue.
Atak no matter how attractive will take time to sink in here. Nevertheless its a good option too.

I think Neither Turkey nor Pakistan has such luxury to pay money for two different attack helicopter Even if the roles are different. No need to mention logistic differences and training of both platform that causes extra payment and time...

this is like if PAF goes and buy f-15 saying we have f-16s, than buys j-10 saying we having Chinese experience, than go up buying rafale quoting french experience and end up buying mig 35 saying we operate f-7/mig 21.

at time like this when finances is an issue for PAF, PN , PA is going on shopping spree

if we are getting zulus than i even against argue buying any other platform let alone buying 3 different(z-10-turkish-mi35)
or govt should drop zulus and just stick to chinese or turkish option. this would save around 1-2 billion dollars

I am not refuting to the fact that optingfor multiple platforms will cost us more, I'm all up for one primary platform.
Gotta go for the best bangfor the buck,

Agreed, Its gonna be quite hard for PAA to choose between Atak and Z-10 since they'd probably opt for one of em.

Buying so many different types in such limited numbers is highly inefficient, I don't understand why so many are ignoring this fact. A duplication of training, spares, weapons etc etc with almost no commonality between them is just going to drain the PA's operational budget and lead to lower availability than fewer types with higher numbers.

If T129 is built on NATO standards, then it will be hard to market the product. In such condition , Pakistan is the closest Turkish alley can absorbing both Western and Communist block technology in all armed forces.
Mega tag weapon market is tough for new seller. Pakistan getting hard time selling Thunder. Right now Socialist and Western block dominate the market, where they also provide soft loan for procurement. Plus long term contract with consistent part supplies and they have also proven record.
Building weapons is deficit financing , if there is no program to launch in the market to cover the cost of production.

Turkish products are a way to weapon to eastern block countries.

Pakistan is testing T-129 because if it passes the test. Pakistan could Co-develop it with Turkey. Here in "Kamra" where new Aviation city is going to build. but Pakistan will not Accept it with US engine and avionics.

Time after time news surface , but nothing solid. Let's see, may be Turkish govt convince US supplier group for resale. Increase some commission But, I think right after this news publish, US gave full package of AH1z to Pak.

Turkish officials may use TF-X program to get all permissions regarding USA origin products for export markets but It should be noted that Neither Turkey, nor USA expressed a blokage for LHTEC engines to be likely export for 3rd party countries. In additions, Turkey selected same engine for domestic utility helicopter program as well. If USA issued such a blockage, Turkey wouldn't have selected same LHTEC 800A engines for another strategic helicopter program that TAI expects to reach a big market thanks to twin engine utility copter. There is no blockage so T-129 Atak is in Pakistan for trials !

Well, engine is main question in every plane manufacturer. But, getting good offer of EJ2000 engine, which outperform any engine in the market . According to recent record, it gave flawless performance for over 6000 hours. Let's wait and see for TFX by 2023. How it goes , a single engine or double engine.
