Arjun looks more of an evolution of Nazi terror Tiger Tank.

I can see a slight similarity in the sense that neither have sloped armour. And the more or less rectangular upper part. But they're very different in most ways.

yup but have striking appearance only

leopards 2a4 basic is that.. but every country with a decent budget has extra explosive armour on it.
or other materials to slope the turret.
as i look at arjun.. i dont see its gonna be succesfull i will wait for arjun 2

One billion hearts and one will is being manipulated by Indian bookies.

well if any tank deserve to give pakistan army fight it must be T 90 very very awsome tank many countries around the world uses it Arjun is a crap believe me indian army many time was not happy with its perfomance and went to drdo for re engineering it is now failed but pakistan has quality of T 80 with pakistan Al Zarar is secondary tank to me not taht good as AK but i hope that pakistan make it bit safety armour on it and give it a more powerfull punch and few goosd sensors which can see threat from far enough

Indian made tank is a joke as it will never be the MBT for India. Prime reason is that purchasing Russian tanks brings more kickbacks for politicians and generals. So Indians can kiss the Tejas and Arjuns good-bye. Indian leadership will keep opting for Russian made armament period. Tejas will never be inducted by Indian Ari Force. Indians might make a squadron and will stop production on the premise of designing and producing a 4th generation (F-18) like aircraft.

On the other hand Pakistani military has no choice but to build tanks and plans in Pakistan mainly due to:
1) The government does not have cash reserves like India
2) There are very few (read zero) nations who would like to give high technology to Pakistan (Islamophobia)

So Pakistan is left with second grade Chinese military technology which comes cheap and is not at par with western technology.

Chinese technology is not on par with American technology.

Western countries like France and Britain have to buy American 5th gen planes while China makes their own. Britain buys their SLBMs from America.

China also doesn't need to sell arms to keep their economy going. If Pakistan doesn't want it we're not going to be too upset over it.

@ Tanlixiang
china is the emerging power of world. Peoples Liberation Army is the world largest army. Similarily , it has newer technology.
The opinion by Asfand is individual opinion. Therefore , dont take it serious. I apologise for it.

There is no need for 'VS' or 'comparison' threads - all they do is incite flame wars and uber jingoist posts.

Separate threads discussing the features of the various tanks operated by India and Pakistan respectively already exist, stick to them and in discussing their respective features/advantages/disadvantages, rather than doing comparisons such as these.
