We are extremely proud that Pakistani defence forum is regarded as the sociopolitical equivalent of the secular republic of India, now held to the same ethical and social standards as the world's oldest democracy. Yeah, but India is not France. France was a society created on freedom of speech and expression, especially against the holier ones, when the Catholic Church tried to undo the French revolution, the retribution came stronger against it thus the French have a strong feeling over the whole blasphemy issue.

India is a deeply religious country unlike France, and almost all communities living here are religious, be it Hindus or Christians or Muslim. In this case, the religion of the particular person played a key role, also, there is rarely any instance in India where comedians dare mock Islam's prophet, I guess that's where they draw the line and all I see is Hindu RW also drawing their own lines.
