baap of most twin engine in performance and reliability

Most current 5th gen projects are heavy or medium in their weight class. As such there are no engines available to those projects that could meet their power requirements. The F-135 engine that powers the F-35 however is possibly on of the most powerful engines designed for combat aircraft and is capable of providing sufficient power to the generally medium weight F-35.
