COAS(Pakistan) reaches Saudi Arabia to revive strained ties

There is a lot of disinfo & misleading through media outlets to worsen situation and put some strains on ties between Pakistan KSA or even attempts to malign China or Turkey through use of different yet mean words & puzzling articles so that any triggering response can be fueled for hatred. I say that, lest not go down the unnecessary meltdown path and posting the knee jerk reactions that have nothing in relation to real time happening.

Since it was Saudi minister who visited GHQ to invite COAS to S.A after S.M Qureshi statement.

I believe Gen. Bajwa will simply say it’s the elected government decision and the army stands behind it. Which is the new stance in Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Also there’s a speculation that Mr. Qureshi made the statement after taking the government and the GHQ into confident and China’s backing the new policy.

Saudi house is crumbling and they need Pakistan more than ever to secure their luxurious lifestyle, however, their main card is using the Holy Places to play with our people emotions. Which won’t work no more. It’s clear who they share their tables with.

Well I fully back Pakistan government, it’s better to be independent then be dependent on others. If they send our workers back why can’t we use them to build better Pakistan instead.

we will see the outcome of the visit in next one month. but some aggressive diplomacy is going on between saudia and pak and things dont seem to be all OK. we may see massive changes in the region in near future. but lets hope for the best. it will be foolishness on part of both countries if they say good bye to each other. the countries that will benefit from this divorce will be india, israel and USA.

I hope you are right but numbers are suggesting otherwise.
Which numbers, do you mean?
the numbers given by the agents of IMF sitting in pakistani cabinet?
It's the power which world moves on not Jst economy, it's the American fleets which moves in the sea and let afraid countries and thier afraid leadership bow down to them, no wars can be won just by hving super economy if it was the case then Vietnam should hve won the war against the biggest power on earth thier economy wasn't anything to USA. At that time of war nor it is still but they chose honor and dignity over slavery?

Abnormal remittance from KSA clears the exact situation

The formation of a new 'Islamic bloc' is something that will take time, but even if done successfully, would be more of a middle finger to the Saudis and their GCC Arab allies than actually provide any tangible change to the situation in IIOJK.
building a block takes trust, and with all due respect, we didnt help ourselves when we gave Malaysia a two finger salute, and sat it out.

This gives a lot of insight into the official Saudi thinking:

https://www.arabnews.com/node/1720441

Main points I gather, they think:
1. The are doing a good deal on Kashmire
2. Having economic relations with India gives them leverage for above
3. Pakistan has stood militarily with Saudi always, and Saudi has stood financially with Pak always.
4. Their 20 bn invstement plan in CPEC shows they are for long term relationship with Pak

We can't destroy pakistan a country of 23 corors because of that remitences?
Or become slave of Israel because afraid KSA king wants it?
And then give up kashmir?
Then baluchistan?
Then gilgit baltistsn?
Then karachi and its port,
Then our nuclear assests?
And then what? DO MORE?
let KSA deport those pplls, announce or start secretly gas and oild pipe lines from. Iran, take what we need to use or develop our industries and rest supply to China that all gas and oil not long if, hve a vision, we can stand up as a nation and unite against all evils, it's just need vision, bravry, and will and we can achieve what ever we want!

It’s a very confusing situation, we are not on one page. Boot lickers are trying to portrait home bullies in good light, even if COAS goes to toilet they will suspect something is about to happen, finger crossed. Another type is saying our relationship is still intact, despite the fact Saudi’s threatened us twice, and they took back some of their money. Youthias are confused as usual, some are blaming SMQ, some are pro SMQ. Where do we stand as a nation?

The least we can do is to agree at one point and tell these sharmootas that “don’t threaten us”, period.

Iranians are also sitting on the lap of Indians and Indians are sitting on the lap of Israelis. Now you think that Iranians are angels. Now Saudi did the exactly same thing to run the show with Indians and Israelis. Both have adopted the same attitude to damage each others interest. For your kind information, Iranian made oil contract with China not with Pakistan. It was a bilateral agreement.
It is not easy to establish and run export oriented industry. Hoping that Chinese will bring some new sectors of business. Now Chinese also have some cultural issues with Pakistani people. It is very difficult to struck a balance in all these issues but government have their own ways to deal these issues. So there is no need to panic. just easy-peasy and enjoy the heat of the moment.

I think things aren't as off-track as some are trying to make them.

In my view, what was said by the FM was a very calibrated view after careful deliberations to get the Saudis to move. It was said not to insult but rather to reflect the mood on the Pakistani street. The message being that Pakistan is willing to play the ball but KSA also needs to do its part in mobilizing support for Kashmir.

OIC on the whole is a pretty ineffective org., as such the sole benefit for Pakistan via OIC is to get publicity and a stance which keeps India on notice with regards to Kashmir. So what Pakistan is asking for is not a mountain to be delivered by the Saudis.

I also believe that if the Saudis don't do what Pakistan is nudging them to do, it is the Saudis that stand to lose their reputation as being one of the leading voices in the global Muslim affairs. In other words, Pakistan is simply bringing the issue to the Saudi attention and suggesting "this one is yours to lose. If you cannot help us, we will go to other non-aligned entities." This does not mean that Pakistan will break ties with the KSA, nor does it mean that KSA becomes inconsequential. It will mean on the Kashmir issue, Pakistan will look for other allies.
