CM Punjab posing for picture while supervising water drainage !

so in the last 5 years it never occured to him that something should be done about the drainage system to prevent this happening again? what a joker.

Maybe the metro bus is designed to drive underwater? lol
The rains have already corssed 320mm and close to break 386mm -the most rainfall in 100 years in anywhere in Pakistan- recorded in Islamabad. You don't expect drainage systems to handle such scale. Yes this event does call for emergency drainage system in tandem but then again where would you dump the water when Ravi itself is flooded?

Ring road has no drainage system at all, metro itself had none, except 4 inch holes that splash water on the roads, now they have placed 5-6 inch drainage pipes, that hardly do the job, plus not directly connected to the system... this is their engineering... idiots !
Because metro is an elevated track.....Common sense...

Here comes Madam @Akheilos to blindly defend pti and ptians.Leader dont need you as his legal representative and can speak for himself and you as usual totally missed the point and talking irrelevant discussion here . You guys are blindly bashing sahabaz because he is with people in this critical time of floods and let assume he is doing this just for show off. I was saying KPK charsi is also not setting good example to follow. Watch the video again and see what people are complaining about

Is it better to leave your own province lawaris and get busy in dance/mujra in capital when people are dying in kpk because of rains and storm? What role model is this? Its so stupid to run away from responsibilities of province and talk about changing whole Pakistan. Get some sense in your head guys

This isn't the first time floods are happening, they have been here in the government for almost 7 years, yet no dams, everyone knows, both CM Khattak and CM SS are at fault but people will blame SS more cuz he has been here for more time and we the people of Punjab have been continuously asking the government to make dams, proper sewage system etc

Yes the longer you are the more "experienced" at handling things you should be...but in Pakistan govt the longer you are in govt the more ways you know of stealing money into your pockets instead of utilizing it to make a productive province/ city....Everyone is damn greedy....Khattak might be blamed for incompetence...but if CM Punjab of 7 yrs is showing similar results to a 1st time candidate...and his party not even trying to hold him responsible I dont see why people point fingers at Khattak?

My point exactly, there are reasons why we need dams near Jehlum, Kalabagh etc but our people are too incompetent and love to blame each others to realize this.

Let me remind you guys of something, whenever rain used to come Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to pray to Allah for forgiveness and that no calamity happens. This is because before any nation was destroyed by Allah rain was always the first sign. So I ask everyone here please pray for your Pakistani brothers and our brothers in the marches, from the way this rain is increasing by time and flood reports are coming, please pray that no big calamity happens.

He has been in government for 6-7 years straight...and even though he built roads, metro, flyovers and all sort of mega-construction sh!t, it didn't ever occur to him to make the drainage system better even after looking at the same situation annually and having his photos made in sewerage annually.

There are provisions for drains in all major projects, but over time, these are all choked with garbage and plastic bags thrown about by the people themselves who then suffer when the rains come.

ISPR has said that army is ready for AID deployment and has already moved in a few cities. Army coming for the peoples AID once again. #salutepakarmy

For people like Achakzai who say army should stay within the constitution and not peck their nose in things that are not for them, Is it army's duty again and again to help citizens in the time of calamities or defend the borders. One time okay, two times okay three times okay, hell every time?

What are the civilian institutions doing and the ministers who are overseeing those institutions doing?

These days politicians are all extremely busy exchanging with each other filled suitcases as a sign of gratitude and thanks for the extraordinary support they all have shown for the democracy and the supremacy of the constitution.

People like him will even ask army soldiers to do municipal work of cleaning the streets as that is what it is "staying within the constitution" as per them. After all what was being said by the democratic politicians against the army, the army is again using all it's resources to help the people who elect those politicians democratically.

Should we say shame on the army

or

Should we say shame on the people

or

Should we say shame on those democratic politicians
