on the other hand Hamir Mir says : the Deep state is trying to corner CJ, because of pressure on missing persons and extra judicial killing by Armed forces,

though maybe true, but where did Malik Riaz go in all this ??? clean chit?

THere is a whole game being played here. Listening to the PPP goons statements yesterday, the whole game comes to the fore.
Two situations now.

1- Malik Riaz withholds all evidence, and then there is not enough evidence to charge Arslan Iftikhar and he gets acquitted rightly. Then Malik Riaz due to his influence over the media launches a anti-CJ movement asking for his resignation, and it mounts up, and the government gets what it wants.

2- The second situation is that the government, even in the preliminary stages, (as the chairman PAC NA said on Capital talk yesterday), says that they don't expect justice to be served until the CJ is the Chief Justice. And asks for his resignation, even before the opportunity for option 1 arises.

Leader, Malik Riaz is being given a clean chit because the media is bribed by him. As said yesterday by a PML guy on Geo tv. Malik Riaz has so much influence, that he can buy everything. That is option 1 will come into place.

BTW, who do you people think is behind this, Army or Government?

Or simply Malik riaz , who wanted decisions in his favor, but they didn't come, 46 in all, and the PPP or Army took advantage?

Reasons: missing persons/ extra judicial kidnapping/killing/recent clash with DG FC/ and above all cases against their real estatae business that has been a thorn between the Iftikhar and musharraf & co
Malik Riaz? ofcourse
Reasons: he is either the real king in the game, or just a front man business dealer for the retired generals, and CJ is the one taking up cases against his Bahria town, which are getting into final stages.

Can PPP and establishment work together to tackle CJ, is a question that needs to be answered first.

whether they do or not, objective is same, "corner CJ".

Another objective that needs to be achieved is make Chief justice controversial before he retires, so that he doesnot end up as an example to be followed.

how to achieve these objectives? but here the biggest problem lies how will the media unilaterally campaign against the Chief Justice who they have always portrayed as the icon of justice and rule of law? Now there is a very important point to note: USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA to bring fourth a scam, so social media maybe used to make CJ controvertial by leaking information on twitter and other forums, it will go viral regardless of everything, but still to me, overall, in this game, Malik Riaz has all the cards to play against Chief Justice BUT the final punch lies with CJ and his brilliant team of judges who can rule against Malik Riaz for the good of this country. and this challenge is bigger than Musharraf.
