so the bubbles are burst finally ..........No body would appoint this bullshit tariq fatimi his pion and look where he is

Okay then.

Ask Turkey and Saudi Arabia to attend.

If they decline also then Pakistan has to do some soul searching.

A translation please .

If this is right then its quite a setback to Pak diplomacy
You see at this point of time Pakistan has no diplomacy for there is no functional foreign ministry. Our inapt PM has appointed two pseudo-foreign ministers, Mr. Sartaj Aziz (in his 90s), and Mr. Tariq Fatmi. The foreign office does not know who to listen and follow and who is responsible for Pakistan's foreign policy.

Now I don't remember at this time who broke the news of Chinese President attending the Pakistan day parade, Aziz or Fatmi, or whether it was a stunt to underplay Obama's attendance of Indian parade or a real thing.

Your COAS travels more to other nations than anyone else. He appears to be the all -in-one including the Foreign minister too.

He nips across to China every now & then. What did he work out with the Chinese ?

As I keep saying Institutions must be nurtured and made stronger than personalities - Pakistan does the opposite and gets opposite results invariably.

Even national papers were crowing his arrival ,

Chinese President expresses willingness to attend Pakistan Day parade

I think it's a wait and see, there has been no real indication that the Chinese are backing out of this. Considering the political realities on the ground, pulling out now without any sort of valid excuse would be a pretty big slap on the face.

Following is from the weekly foreign office briefing by Miss Tasneem Aslam. Now it does appear that the Chinese president will come to Pakistan this year, but not really reassures if he will attend Pakistan day parade.

Now I really don't understand why Mr. Fatemi made the statement (if he really did) wheres it is the job of Miss Aslam. Nothing is being handled professionally.

The exact dates are being worked out," said Aslam. "Once we have confirmed the dates, we will make an announcement in Islamabad and Beijing as per practice.”

The spokesperson also confirmed the visit of Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi, adding that the dates of the visit are being worked out.

A source had earlier told Dawn that Yi will be arriving in Islamabad on Feb 9 on a two-day official visit.

Late last year, following consultations between the governments of China and Pakistan, the visit of Chinese president to the country had been canceled in light of protests in Islamabad led by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).

As the ruling Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) blamed PTI chief Imran Khan and firebrand cleric Tahirul Qadri's protest in the capital for the cancellation of Chinese president's visit, counterpart India rolled out the red carpet for Xi Jinping on his maiden visit to India.

Miss Tasneem is a Spokesperson - you know the meaning of spokesperson and what is the job of a spokesperson? She simply forwards to the media what is given her to read.

Is Mr. Akbaruddin a spokesperson of Indian foreign office?

In other words, it is the lollipop given to pakistani awam (including many in PDF) so that they can sit quietly.

Not getting your point. Being a spokesperson does not qualify not aware of current affairs or is it?
