Chinese Intervention in North Korea

.
East Asians underestimate the importance of Korean war. The white man feared the yellow not because of the guy below, but because of the sacrifices of Chinese, who defeated the then war number one superpower USA, and her 16 ally nations.

Soviets didnt do anything. They promised a lot in Communist brotherhood but when the fighting started no soviet soldiers could be found.

In fact if you know much about the cold war. It was the Soviets who backstabbed the Chinese because they were fearful the Chinese would eventually become the leader of the Communist world. They drove China away from the Soviets and basically due to that move, lost the cold war. Had China and Soviets stayed together it would have been impossible to defeat the communists.

Though not officially belligerent during the Korean War (1950–1953), the Soviet Union played a significant, covert role in the conflict. It provided material and medical services, as well as Soviet pilots and aircraft, most notably MiG 15 fighter jets, to aid the North Korean-Chinese forces against the United Nations Forces.

Aka they did nothing but fly a few jets around and send some medical supplies. Let me know how many UN soldiers the soviets killed.

In comparison China did far more for Vietnam in their war against Americans then the soviets ever did for China in Korea.

China's arms shipments to Vietnam included 270,000 guns, over 10,000 pieces of artillery, 200 million bullets of different types, 2.02 million artillery shells, 15,00 wire transmitters, 5,000 radio transmitters, over 1,000 trucks, 15 planes 28 naval vessels and 1.18 million sets of military uniforms."

According to your logic without China, Communists Vietnam would have lost the war so China won the war in Vietnam?

So by your logic China won the Vietnam war because it gave Vietnam supplies and training?

According to historian Christopher Goscha, the Vietnamese were greatly relieved to have Chinese support. The military aid and training China provided were vital to the Vietnamese defeat of the French. “They also sent political advisors to remold the Vietnamese state, economy and agricultural system in Communist ways. Then relations changed in the late 1960s, as the Cultural Revolution and Maoist visions of permanent revolutionary struggle ran up against important and geostrategic differences in Vietnam in the war against the US. Nonetheless, the Chinese continued to supply massive amounts of military and economic aid, as well as sending over 300,000 military support troops into northern Vietnam. Internationalism did suffer a serious blow, plus the Sino-Soviet split, which brought damage to the relations between China, the Soviet Union and of course, Vietnam.[16]

Not entirely true, comrade cochine.

Yes Stalin did supply the N Korean with military arms but these were all paid in advance.
And Stalin did not expect US to intervene if the war was quick. Stalin did not want a direct war with United States. So when United State intervened, Stalin was surprised and alarmed.

Based on declassified Soviet documents.
The Soviet reaction to the U.S. intervention in Korea in June 1950 and the pattern of subsequent Soviet intervention in the war also indicate that Stalin was surprised and alarmed by the U.S. response and extremely reluctant to confront the United States militarily over Korea. First, the Foreign Ministry had no reply to an American intervention prepared by June 25. Gromyko sent the first draft of the Soviet statement on the American intervention to Stalin on July 2, a full week after the beginning of the war.71 Second, Soviet authorities immediately took steps to avoid engaging the American forces. On June 26, Soviet ships that had sailed from Dairen were ordered “to return to their own defense zone immediately” and throughout the war Soviet naval vessels stayed clear of the war zone.72 Third, in an attempt to distance itself from the conflict, the Soviet government refused to approve the fervent requests of Soviet citizens of Korean nationality to join their fellow Koreans in defending their homeland against “the barbarous attack by the American imperialists.”73 Finally, when the course of the war turned against the DPRK in the wake of the American landing at Inchon, the Soviet Union refused to intervene in order to defend its client state.74

In the end Stalin did send Mig15.
However, throughout the war, Soviet pilots were prohibited from flying over enemy-held territory so that they would not be taken prisoner if shot down.8

Check your post above, it said that Soviet did nothing. I have just talk to you that Soviet did so much, with out such materials and weapon, of Soviet Union by the side, China PLA dare not do this intervention in to Korean war.

In Vietnam war, Vietnam won US intervention with the help of all 12 countries from Socialist pact, headed by Soviet Union. China is one of them.

300,000 chinese ? its fake data. In fack PLA troop is the logistic, your contracted the roads from China to North Vietnam, whichs China had used later on in Sino - Vietnam war in 1979. In fact chinese help is just for the intention of China to shooken hands ofUSA in Vietnam war. China had a contact with USA from 1969, 1972. Its discoloed true intention of China to be sided with USA in cold war. The Sino - Soviet split is the evident for that China will be allied with USA in 1979.

If Soviet did Nothing, then PLA would completely destroyed by USAF like N.Korean army cos PLA in Korea only have machine guns and mortar.

Tell me how can u shoot down US planes by mortar if Soviet Mig 15 did Nothing ??

Wrong. At early stage of Korea War(The time the video shows), Chinese soldiers didn't have any Soviet weapons. No Soviet fighter planes arrived in Korea either.

I copy and past here below for you.

The conflict escalated into warfare when North Korean military (Korean People's Army, KPA) forces—supported by the Soviet Union and China—crossed the border and advanced into South Korea on 25 June 1950

North Korea got supplied from Soviet Uniont. But not China. Actually Mao didn't make his decision until the last time. There was not enough time to change equipment for Chinese army. Please check below video from 4:16. Chinese soldiers all held old weapons.

Initial Korean War was mostly fought with Japanese WW2 weapon.

After WW2 in 1945, communist suddenly become a powerful beast. As late as 1942, KMT easily defeat CPC army group like nobody, wiping out New 4th Army, capturing their top leaders such as Ye Ting, Xiang Ying.

General Su Yu, the biggest war hero in Huai Hai campaign, run away in 1942.

Then in 1945, CPC is suddenly well armed even fielding heavy artillery.

Japan did handover arms and munitions to communist, which could be reason that CPC let Japan off hook too easily. Japanese soldiers and medical corps fought along side with CPC, in large number.

This is seldom mentioned due to sensitive political reasons.
