There is no direct war, there is only proxy war, and ironically, nuclear weapons bring peace.

Nuclear weapons didnt bring peace, they brought war-by-alternative-means to countries. But i guess fewer people die in attrition/slow motion war,but still, we still have conflict and weapons sales have never been higher.

USA can fight - - bravely, if they are well supplied, well prepared, have numerical superiority, and have overwhelming firepower.

USA commanders will not deploy soldiers without fulfilling any of above conditions.

PLA surprise attack gained some success, but US quickly found out how to beat that tactic, and at the end of Korean war, US beat up PLA badly, made Mao keep his mouth shut for years cos PLA didnt know any more better tactic to keep fighting. Thats so pathetic ending for PLA in Korean war .

First, its bcs Soviet airforce push US airforce back, so PLA didnt get very high casualty like North Korea army thats was completely destroyed by USAF.

Sec, US didnt think PLA supprise attack will work even when US troops were not coverred by USAF.

Third, US didnt wanna occupy N.Korea, just bcs NK army was too weak against USAF, thats why US could push NK army to CN's border as easily as walking in the park

Yeah, US-UN forces learned from their mistakes, so now, they know how to beat PLA's suprise attack easily. PLA learned from their mistakes, so they dare attack US now to avoid humiliate defeat like at the end of Korean war.

only Cnese here learn nothing but bragging, twisting days and nights how ragtag PLA "won" Korean war. Let me give u another example: France legion army was force to surrender and wave white flag in VN war, but in Korean, they beat PLA badly after knowing how to stop PLA's surprise attack.
