It is being deployed in the same way as the 50 years old US airforce B-52 strategic bombers, except it is much smaller in size and has lesser load. They don't even have to enter missile range of the enemy to launch long range cruise missile. Depending on the type and range of missile carried, they can launch from 300KM away from target or at maximum range of antiship missile ALCM.

And as in B-52, it is flexible in that the pilot can launched from predetermined point, or at alternate point, delay attack or abort attack depending on strategic or political event fluctuation.

Anyone questioning its deployment equally questioning US Airfoce B-52 deployment.

ICBM is only for nuclear war.
these kind of bombers does not need to enter enemey missile air defence. the bomber it self is only a launch vehicles.

They can go into indian airspace without being detected because india doesn't have an air defense system. But with our 1500+ km range CJ-10K cruise missiles, they do not even need to enter indian airspace.

Bombers and cruise missiles are cheaper than ballistic missiles. Each H-6K can carry 6 CJ-10K cruise missiles. Each H-6M can carry 4 CJ-10K cruise missiles.

CJ-10K is the first generation of modern long range ALCM in the same class of Amercian AGM-86 and Russian Kh-55, designed to attack a variety of fixed, high-value targets. Its configuration features a cylindrical body with two retractable wings, four non-retractable tailfins as well as a retractable engine inlet. However the missile appears to lack any significant stealth features. Based on CJ-10 land-based cruise missile which in turn adopted some Kh-55 technology, CJ-10K ALCM entered the service with PLAAF in the late 2000s, along with the dedicated H-6M missile carrier converted from earlier H-6Fs. Powered by a fuel-efficient turbofan engine, CJ-10K can achieve a range between 1,500 and 2,500km, depending on the payload it carries. As a strategic weapon, it is capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional warhead. 1) Whats the detection range of the radar used on this bird ?

2) Can it carry the C-802 anti-ship missiles and if yes then how many ?

3) Is it suitable for a naval role as sort of a well-armed platform firing the C-802s or some of our Cruise Missiles from afar and consequently would it make sense if Pakistan had a few of these in Karachi, Gwadar, Pasni etc. (Our Naval Bases) to provide air-based anti-shipping capabilities instead of going for 2-3 squadrons of J-11s or J-17s ?
