China's first Mars rover drives onto red planet's surface

It was just a couple months ago that you were laughing at Starship landings blowing up. Now that Starship has successfully soft landed you were nowhere to be found.

Starship is going to orbit THIS year. Once SpaceX perfects reentry, it’s on to in orbit refueling, then to Mars. SpaceX is well on track for an uncrewed mission to Mars in 2024. They are moving rapidly

The progress curve flattens after a while. Initially progress is fast, but later it slows down.

SpaceX is retiring the difficult parts early and rapidly. Many thought the landing flip maneuver and soft landing was impossible and yet SpaceX achieved it in only 5 attempts. SpaceX is moving directly to orbital launch.

SpaceX is leaving everyone else in the dust.

They need a lot of tests to make sure it works correctly. 1 success is not enough confidence.

Made in China Brand , picking up steam now
No Rush they just announce a mission and it is Successful not 10,000 crashes like Elon Musk Rocket

After the disaster of Tesla cars crashing , my trust in Elon Musk companies have gone down significantly. He seems like a con artist that is great at hype and marketing.

Tesla is making, by far, the safest and most technologically advanced vehicles in the world right now. No one else is close.

I’ve already reserved a Cybertruck and will purchase a dual motor Model 3 later this year. I’ll never return to ICE vehicles.

Dont drink too much koolaid, Tesla is hype created for IPOs, tahts why its still burning cash till today, its been 10 years. The business model of Elon is very simple, sell an idea, get funding, burn it to produce a product.

Don't bother about people making fun of space X. Many people in the space industry itself and beyond were making fun of Elon Musk and some were even calling him a fool/crazy when he started space X and came up with his reusable rocket project. In fact ironically those people making fun of him were mostly in the US/Europe/Russia for the most part not Chinese. Now none of them are laughing anymore since spacex has shocked people again and again with each passing year since then.
So I don't take the few people who still make fun of them seriously, since what spacex has done and is still doing is simply revolutionary, and they have proven they eventually always achieve what they set their targets/sights on. FALCON rockets, Starlink and now Starship is just one of many examples. Give it just a couple years from now when Starship is matured/proven and the sky will be the limit from then on(since it has so many applications that just a decade or two ago was deem impractical or fiction by most). One thing I know is that they are on the right track and their nearest competitors are way behind coming up with anything close to starship. In fact others are still struggling to come up with a proven reusable falcon 9 like rocket forget about Starship.

But seems Chinese people are not thinking like you. Since Tesla is still among the top selling cars in China itself and I don't see that changing any time soon.

In fact, even the top Chinese EV car maker was a joint venture by GM(another American car maker that wasn't allowed to set up a local unit on its own back then) and Chinese state owned car maker SAIC. If anything you should be criticising your state owned car producers who have been heavily favoured by your government for decades but have proven to be failures/inefficient and even lazy since they seem to be more focused on relying on established foreign car makers with whom they have so called "Joint ventures" to make decent sales, so they have no real incentive to rely on their own and build their own brand through high R&D and constant innovations etc. So if anything the Chinese government forcing established foreign car brands to set up joint ventures with your inefficient state owned car makers have only made things worse for your stare owned car makers to be honest. Reason why almost none of them is competive abroad compared to your private auto makers who are at least trying and doing a far better job in this regard despite being less favoured. This again proves what I have been saying: private companies usually perform far better than state owned ones if giving a level playing field and similar resources. If anything most state owned companies should be left to their own devices and the inefficient ones dissolved or let to go broke, since they just encourage inefficiency and misuse of resources which could have been better used in other sectors. SOE should be limited in strategic sectors only and that's it.

I don't understand why some people just like picking up on others just because they happen to have some grudges with that said country. It should be limited to governments not people. If Tesla was a Chinese company I'm sure you will be singing their praises on here day and night and saying how advanced they are and how they dominate the world Electric car markets with dominant sales in almost every major EV car market on the globe. Lol Shows many on here are very biased, since some are singing the praises of brands that are nowhere near Tesla level of dominance just because it happens to be from their country. People should learn to give credit when due. Why is that so hard to do? Jeez. 🤦🏽
