So you're saying a Brahmin will let his daughter marry a Shudra doctor?! :woot:

If a Shudra becomes a doctor, he becomes a Brahmin.

Okay, let me explain the caste system. Majority of the people have no clue about it.

The caste system is no different from our modern professional classes that we have today. The only difference is the caste system forced you to aspire towards a better life, whereas today's modern society allows you to make a choice for yourself, so you can even choose to be a bum. Plus, your life choices are more flexible today.

Also a Shudra is not an untouchable according to the rules. But it became a practice during British rule after poverty was introduced for the first time in India, and public education came to an end.

In the past, you basically had only a few career choices. But it was compulsory for all to have an education. So everybody underwent education under a Brahmin, this included children of the lowest classes to princes. And they all lived life the same way, no different from a modern school today. So the different castes were all career choices. A Shudra's child could always opt to become a Brahmin. This was the Gurukul system, this system was also exported to China, and that's how they got the Shaolin and various other schools.

Then Hinduism went into a major decline and Buddhism came to power for 700 years. This system eventually got corrupt because education became big and quite competitive, like today. Education also became more complex. We started making great strides in education. For example, modern surgery was developed in India. We started setting up the world's first universities. Superiority complexes developed. A Brahmin always considered himself to be superior to the other castes, and education became rigid, no different from today. So a doctor could not train himself to also become an engineer simultaneously in this new corrupt system. All castes were eventually trained within their own fields. So now a blacksmith's son couldn't choose to become a soldier and so on. Eventually, the Shudras who only served the other three castes got no education.

Then Islamic rule came up and education declined.

After the British came to power, the Gurukul system died and the British used the caste system to subjugate India by making it worse. This is when the concept of untouchability was created. The British were literally going around the country sticking groups of people into the list of untouchables via census.

Basically, the caste system is very effective. But it was very idealistic and developed for a Utopian world, not for ours. Every single person in the world today is living in a bastardized version of the Hindu caste system without knowing it.

We aren't superior brother. :enjoy: We are just humans like everyone else. Too bad Indians see us (as well as NE Indians) at the bottom/outside of the caste system, while Aryans from outside India are at the top.

That's why they thought America alone could get them the NSG seat and the UNSC seat, they never even bothered to ask China for our support on the issue. The way Indians see it, Westerners can do anything.
I don't understand why this issue of superiority has existed throughout time and in many different places/cultures. If one studies history it is clear that no one is superior to anyone. The nations who rose to power and prestige were able to do it purely by working hard. Once they stopped it their greatness was lost.

Today China is reaching new heights bcuz of decades of hardwork of the entire nation collectively. Keep it up

I hope Pakistanis follow this path.

Very true. India is conducting foreign policy base on their caste system. We can call it caste based foreign policy. So white Western countries are Aryan high caste countries. East Asians are lump together with Dalits and NE tribals as untouchables.

I'll be very concerned if I'm around an Indian made reactor.
Assuming that India make their own reactors which I doubt. Even if they are making the reactors, it's outdated technology at best. Outdated unclear technology means I would not want to be in the proximity of Indian reactors

Both assertions are incorrect. Whites wouldn't be high caste either.

According to Hinduism, high caste is earned. By becoming a doctor, teacher, scientist, engineer etc or by joining the police, army etc earns you a high caste status.

You are an 'untouchable' if all you want to do in your life is waste it away. Because then all you will get is menial tasks which end up making you an untouchable. And because you wasted a precious chance at life, that many don't get, you will be punished in the afterlife.

That's the basic rule anyway.

And you are wrong about the west being Aryan also. Hitler wanted Germans associated with the Indian race for his own goals because of India's rich ancient history. The western theory of an Aryan race has been dismissed. Aryan is not a race.

Anyway, the current caste system was created by the British.
Actually if u study Hinduism(purely based on religion and not the current Indian society) u will find that it is not what u do that determines ur caste, rather it is ur caste that determines what u do. Only Brahmins could be the priests/spiritual leaders/scholars. Kshatriyas could be administrators or warriors etc. Vaishyas could be artisans/merchants/farmers. Shudras were to be laborers and service providers. A shudra could never become a priest or an administrator. If he tried it would be deemed as if he is straying from his path of being a good shudra. The belief was that everyone must do their best in their role and if they did then in the next life their status would be elevated. The goal was to eventually reach nirvana.

A Shudra is any kingdom in any religion couldn't become a priest or administrator. And if he did, he wouldn't be Shudra anymore.

The caste system became rigid in the later Vedic period. Also the caste system was so powerful in the psyche that even those who converted to Christianity or Islam continued the caste system practice.

Anyway, the term 'caste' itself is wrong. It's not a 'caste', it's 'profession' or 'class'. Yeah, you can switch your profession, thereby switching your caste.

The 4 classes are called Varna in Sanskrit. For caste, we have another word called Jati.

And it exists today also. You don't go to an engineer if you have health issues do you? So we have the exact same class system today also. Every single human follows the Varna system.

You go to a teacher to learn, you go to an engineer to design something, you go to a doctor if you fall sick etc. This is Varna.

You haven't answered my question - do Brahmins let their daughters marry Shudra doctors? Don't deflect again.

Yes. Many Brahmin doctors are married to Shudra doctors. Many Brahmins have also married to Shudras who are not doctors. The priestly class used to look down on it, but most don't care anymore. The bigger problem is financial status. Educated Brahmins are richer than Shudras. So money plays a bigger role. Illiterate Brahmins may continue practicing caste system because they don't know any better. It will get better once income levels are even.

Caste is a big problem only in villages. In urban areas, the people are better at hiding their aversion, if they have any.

You can sell the rest of the stuff to a Westerner or a Chinese - but we are well acquainted with Hindus.

Nope. You have zero clue about Hindus. Your country has eradicated Hindus. Westerners have more clue about Hindus.

Your country merely has a border with ours, that doesn't mean you know Hindus. But we Hindus know Muslims quite well.

So educated Brahmins will not wed their daughter to Shudra because money plays a role.

Neither will illiterate Brahmins who still believe in true Hinduism.

So what does that leave us with? No Brahmins would wed their daughters to Shudras. Thanks for the answer!

Many Brahmin doctors are married to Shudra doctors.

Certainly possible - Brahmin men are allowed to take lower caste women as brides (and produce dark Brahmins). The opposite is forbidden.

Lol. This explains how well you understand Hindus. Your knowledge about Brahmins alone is so wrong that it will make even the untouchables laugh.

Well of course they expected to get the NSG seat in 2016, after all their sold their sovereignty to America (by signing the LEMOA) in order to get that seat.

And they consider Westerners to be some sort of deities, they thought there was no way that a non-Western country like China would be able to say no to them.

Shocking revalation for them. But it won't change their mindset, instead of asking China for support they are trying to poke China instead. They don't seem to understand the fact that us non-Aryans (at the bottom/outside of their caste system like NE Indians) can have veto power too.

What you said about Indians considering westerners as dieties is summed up in this one historical picture worth a thousand words.
