Religious scripture means very little to me as well.

But wars are being fought now and they will be fought in the future as well.

People will die in them now, and they will die in them in the future as well.

Atrocities are being committed now and they will be committed in the future as well.

You make some good points.

But sometimes a militarly solution is the only solution.

Sometimes peace comes when there is an outright victor.

When an idea and philosophy is unnacceptable it has to be fought everytime it raises its head.

Sri Lanka did the right thing in wiping out the LTTE.

It should have been done a long time ago, in my opinion, but conditions were not right then.

However, the little that I have seen over a long tenure, I would beg to differ that a military solution is the answer.
