If it is, then great, because India should then stop asking the P5 to give it a permanent seat on the UNSC with veto power, and instead support the Pakistani-Italian proposal of reforming the UNSC by enlarging it and over time moving away from permanent members and veto rights for a handful of States while others are deemed to 'not have those rights'.

In fact, France and China weren't guaranteed any position until Roosevelt's personal intervention.
