Thats where you fail to understand us.The chinese unfortunately have a very high opinion of their own civilization and a very low one of others. This combined with their sudden rise makes some chinese unbalanced in their judgements.Like a poor man who suddenly becomes rich and then thinks throwing his weight around makes him more important.
As for the UNSC i fully understand why china wouldn't support us,and its perfectly ok.Thats logical politics. But the fact is they merely delay the inevitable.Sure we are far from perfect -it will take decades for us to sort it out.But india's eventual rise is a certainty that no little chinese veto will be able to hold back. This is because we ultimately have all the necessary fundamentals -large natural resources, huge arable land, enormous young population for both labour and brainpower, geographic position. Its just a matter of increasing efficiency which due to our heterogeneous nature takes time, but it only retards rather than avert the eventuality. In 1947 we had 99% poverty and couldn't even feed ourselves, none of the experts believed such a diverse country could even survive intact for more than few years.Well now that phase is behind us.Sure ur faster than us ,doesn't mean we are standing still.Neither our population nor our natural resources are something that are hostage to chinese will and these 2 factors rather than a 'veto' will decide where we will be in say 3-4 decades. No amount of insults, jeers or smilies from pakistani or chinese posters will change that.
