From what I remember, Hyundai and Kia brought on Porsche and Volkswagon designers for the passenger vehicles, and it did wonders for their sales in the States.

Not only Porsche and Volkswagen - but lately Bentley's former designer for their luxury Genesis division.

It is my opinion from having travelled in China that they have plenty of cheap migrant labor (from the Chinese interior states) that has not been utilized yet....

I seriously doubt multiple Chinese invasions of Vietnam since the Qin to the Ming to communist Deng were necessary for China’s survival.

About Korea, Japan, no they are not immigration countries, either. It’s just Viets can easily blend in they don’t even know it. If we want we can copy them we can be more Koreans, more Japanese than themselves.

This is a very systemic problem. For example it is very hard to get Beijing hukou if you dont have 211 or 985.

In order for people to be content in their life and status, China got to remove a lot of discriminations.

Many people want to be college graduates because they can feel the discriminations but such discriminations are so stealth and hidden that it is very difficult to describe.

Students from the third world countries, do not need much effort, can receive scholarships to high -class universities like Beijing or Qinghua because they are foreigners.
