China imposes tariffs on 128 US imports, in response to White House actions

Well, I do hope you understand what does a past tense mean:

"China on Monday retaliated against Donald Trump’s taxes on imported steel and aluminium with its own tariffs on a series of products from the United States, including meat, fruit and wine"

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...-us-tariffs-pork-wine-120-products-trade-war/

You are talking about steel and aluminum tariffs, which targets a larger group of countries, not the $60 billion targeting China, which is a different issue.

{sigh}

steel and aluminum tariffs mainly targeted at china, as all the rest of the countries you mentioned have been exempted at large in the end... again, do your homework before opening that mouth again, will you?

Watch how US farmers are trembling, you see Chinese exporters trembling like that? NO

Trump's potential sanctions are just a typical merchant's fake posture. China holds just too many cards for Trump to handle. Soybeans along, not mentioning the tech industry or the treasuries, would perhaps be sufficient enough to call his bluff.

The real deal is to what degree China would allow the Jewish WS money into China's domestic capital markets.

The real deal is to how much degree China would allow the Jewish WS money into China's domestic capital markets.

Yes, it's all a vast conspiracy.

We have been saying this for a long time now, China is holding all the ACE cards. Agricultural products alone can be very damaging to US farmers, heck some could easily go bankrupt. Which country or countries is/are gonna replace the China market? We are talking about 1.4 billion people market here. No country or countries are gonna import those soybeans. For other food products that's gonna hurt as well. So far this is only the warning shot fired by China. If US does not treat the situation carefully China will start looking at the tech card. Boeing can be replaced by Airbus, making US cars more expensive etc. We are sharpening our blades right as we speak and ready to chop US down into pieces.

.
Come next American elections and all those devastated farmers and agricultural industry going to voting, wonder who they are going to vote! Xi on the other hand got no such worry to think about. Just a food for thought.

Yes, what do the Chinese do when they are unhappy with their government? Can't really elect new leaders as there is no such thing as free elections in China. So you are right, Emperor Xi has nothing to worry about.

In geopolitics these things do matter. Powerful leaders can win their nations the wars be it military or economic.

US stocks tumble, Dow dips 750 points as China puts tariffs on US goods

Wonder how much $$ wiped out just today on mere Chinese threats?

.
Who came up with this number (128)? A programmer? :)

.
Try get your storyline straight instead of Anglo-American MSM coolaid.

Trump's 60B is open to half-a-year-long consultation, meaning not a single $ has been implemented yet, perhaps never will be.

On the other hand, China's 3B was implemented this morning, every $ of them, targeting at US's earlier equivalent tariffs on steel & aluminium, not on that 60B pie in the sky.

If Trump tries to go on ahead of part of this 60B in the near future which I seriously doubt, China will then start to get more serious with killer apps such as tariffs on soybeans, Intel, Apple, Boeing, Amazon, GM, Hollywood, Starbucks, McD, KFC... heck, there're so many low-hanging juicy fruits to pick from...

Go ahead and put tariffs on all major American goods, all it does is make stuff expensive for the Chinese. Do you really want to pay 25% more for an Intel chip? And if you block Boeing, then you are giving your market up to Airbus, who will raise their rates to just below the tariffs so they make more profits while still being competitive.

Eateries are not affected by tariffs, they source local.

Tariffs work only when there's competition. You guys haven't really thought through all of this, have you?

The thing about trade wars is everybody loses. But some lose more than others.

You didn't realize that one can go around tariff by building factories inside China?

Yes, when things are good, the leader always takes credit, but when things go bad, what does the leader do then?

Watch how US farmers are trembling, you see Chinese exporters trembling like that? NO

If they were trembling, would you even know? Of course, Chinese exporters are trembling. US is a huge market for them. They are thinking of repercussions of a Chinese-US trade was as much as their American counterparts. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean they are not concerned.

What a dumb response, first figure out what China export to US. NEXT will those exporters go bankrupt like the US farmers?
