In August 2011 AlterNet reported that Poe, along with John Culberson and Michael McCaul, was attempting to remove the right of deceased soldiers families to choose which prayers, if any, were to be read at a soldier's funeral. The three politicians were said to be attempting to impose Christian ceremonies on the military funerals of everybody who has served in the military, regardless of whether or not the deceased was Christian and with or without the consent of the family of the deceased. The three politicians stated their demands were a response to Veterans Affairs (VA) banning Christian prayers at military funerals. VA, however, asserted that this claim was "blatantly false" and that VA respects a family's "rights to pray however they choose at our national cemeteries".

I dont think that China is fool enough to help Pakistan with ICBM tech. It could have hazardous consequences for them as well as we know that equations in International diplomacy keep changing. And if we think, in a way Pak has the whole of India under its strike range and hence the Chinese have taken care of that already through its proxy. But what demains to be seen is whether they are aiming the US and would be dsperate enough to do this through Pakistan and keep the US out of the region. They would not go into a direct confrontation with the US themself as they have much to loose hence they are looking at Pak for this as Pak has already lost much.

A top United States (US) lawmaker has alleged that China was helping Pakistan with intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and claimed that it was also engaged in bullying its neighbours in Asia.

“They (China) are thieves. They steal our intellectual property. Cyber attacks, I believe they’re responsible for those, they’re bullying Asia, trying to make new sovereign territory in the South China Sea and then claim the area around it,” Congressman Ted Poe alleged during a Congressional hearing on Asia on Thursday. “They’re helping Pakistan with ICBMs, and then you get to human rights, they’re the worst offender I think in the world,” he alleged.

“They persecute Christians and other religious minorities, and then they have this practice of putting people they don’t like, like the Falun Gong, in prison and charging them with trumped-up political crimes and then harvesting their body organs and sell those on the marketplace,” he said. “That’s probably the worst type of crime in the world, in my opinion,” Poe said during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Challenges and Opportunities in Asia.

Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken testified before the committee but did not respond to the allegation of Poe that China is helping Pakistan with intercontinental ballistic missile. Earlier this week Poe and Congressman Mike Rogers in a letter to US Secretary of State, John Kerry, Defence Secretary Ashton Carter and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper sought more information on report that China has enabled a Pakistani nuclear missile capability.

Rogers is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Strategic Forces and Ted Poe is Chairman of Subcommittee on Terrorism, Non-proliferation and Trade. In their letter Rogers and Poe referred to a recent research by well know Chinese military technology expert Richard Fisher who has noted the design similarities between the Shaheen III TEL (transporter erector launcher), the Sanjiang Special Vehicle Corporation of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) WS51200 TEL, and a Chinese provided TEL North Korea’s new KN-08 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

This led Fisher to conclude, “CASIC has again enabled a Pakistani nuclear missile capability,” the two lawmakers wrote in their letter to Kerry, Carter and Clapper. “We are deeply concerned that the TEL displayed in Pakistan was acquired from China,” Rogers and Poe said in the two-page letter.

Well after all the mess USA has already decided to stop Chinese economy its defense and pushing EU already to stop buying more and more steal even they are finding a way to put sanction on there defense Industry China is already spending 200 billion dollars on there defense budget which is still the second largest military budget American can put any allegations on China but there military power will increase every second day its influence is increasing in south China sea all America is not even able to secure its ally Japan in the region America cannot do anything its a shame

America is giving APACHE, CHINOOK'S and Nuclear Technology for which reason. I don't get it. If any country reciprocates technology with India under make in India delusion, then it's ok. Call name to Pakistan is the old method of the west for the pleasure of India,when they need to approach to India to sale some defense goods to India. For the Approach to India the US started war between India and China in 1962,now we are looking the result in 2016, according to Indian official and PDF trail ( USA will use Indian airports soon ). Pakistan has been used in the interest of USA since 1979 in Afghanistan but i do not think that USA will use India against China.

What Mr Poe didn't realize that throughout the briefing , the mike he was speaking into, the chair he was sitting on and the most probably the table he was using, were all made in China !!!

We, need to send an orbitor to moon and mars, we need to become the fastest growing economy of the world, because India currently holds that place, we need to raise our standard of living so to be ranked higher than India in HDI index etc etc etc.

FYI, us Pakistanis do talk about these things but you Indians will never ever hear about it. In order to achieve the above the 1st thing Pakistan needs is a strong economy. That has eluded us form the last 69 years till now.......CPEC was initiated last year to ultimately achieve the above endeavours.

Every nation has a genuine and legal right to develop weapon systems for defending its territorial integrity, sovereignty, and freedom of policies. However, when it comes to a Muslim country, the West starts making unnecessary hue and cry on flimsy excuses. Pakistanis haven't forgotten those days of seventies and eighties when Western media used to make idiotic sensational stories for blackmailing Pakistan and any other country willing to cooperate with Pakistan. While Indians almost always cheated the West in the past, Western reaction in every such case, instead of punishing Indians for their rogue and shameless behavior, targeted Pakistan with sanctions, sabotage, aggression, and bribe. Indians introduced nukes, missiles, AWACS, and terrorism in this region by stealing materials, renegading on agreements, cheating on promises, and plainly lying on facts. Indians know how to exploit Western mentality and sensitivity towards Islam and Muslims. Since India is an open and well-recognized existentional threat to its western neighbor, Pakistan exhibited solid determination and vigorous resolve to kick the *** of all these blackmailer Westerners and their monkey India. Against all the odds, Pakistanis succeeded in attaining such a high expertise in nuclear and missile technologies that even the western observers cannot help but admit.

The anticipated test of ICBM Taimur is a befitting slap of the face of idiot Westerner monkeys in the sense that it comes in the background of clear Western support for Indians getting specials exceptions in the global nuclear and missile regimes. While many important countries at the global platforms have voiced their concerns on discriminatory policies of the West in support of India, the US was able to bulldoze their shortsighted policies to some extent. Now that it is no more a unipolar world, the international community needs to stand up and openly speak out against the idiotic concessions to some countries bypassing related rules of global regimes. As far Pakistan is concerned, we will never allow anyone to undermine our sovereignty. One hopes the Westerners have learned that in a bloody way in Afghanistan.
