China Has No Clear Strategy And It's OK

If you check the composition of Chinese GDP growth, the majority comes from internal consumption, the second most comes from internal investment, whereas net trade is actually a drag on GDP growth every year. :P
Odd then that almost every Chinese poster on PDF keeps insisting that China will never be the aggressor in the SCS because she has the most to lose with trade and relations with the West, Japan, etc. Which is it?

you think Apple can bit Samsung smartphone without having a manufacturing plant in China.
Yes, there are always other developing nations willing to take China's place and do it cheaper. It's the nature of capitalism.

All I said is we will not fire the first shot. :P

If someone else fires the first shot, then all bets are off. We gain the justification to retaliate with full force.

Which is exactly the correct thing to do in our position. Wait for others to start it.

If it's the nature of capitalism, why not look for cheaper place to do instead of stay in China...simply your corporation couldn't find any others that can compete with what China manufacturers offer. Like I said we can bankrupt US by helping other foreign company such Samsung, Airbus...to compete American corporations.

? Um, we do all the time and make trade deals all the time with other countries that can produce what we want to buy and undercut China. Are you seriously, just unaware of this? o_O It doesn't mean that we won't do business with China and for some incomprehensible reason, you keep prattling on about the USA cutting off trade with China before a conflict might happen. Of course it won't happen before, but if, God forbid, a shooting war does break out, then of course America is going to cut off completely, any trade with a country we are at war with. It's really not a hard concept to grasp.

Well you're the one who claim that there is other countries willing to take China's place and do it cheaper...LMAO, if that is the nature of capitalism than it's logical step for American corporates to move out of China and do business else where...and I made no insinuation to cut off the trade with US.:disagree:

I don't claim it. It's just the way it is. I'm just surprised you have never known that. It's how capitalism works. Why do you think America pursues trade and production capacity in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Latin America, etc.? It doesn't mean that we are just going to stop doing business with China all of the sudden, but of course there are always going to be up-and-coming developing nations who are willing to undercut China in labour cost, better trade deals, etc. It's how business is done.

Ya, I can’t help you buddy. I've explained it three different times and you are just beating a dead horse. I can't help it if the concept is just too complicated for you to get. You are just desperate to try and invent an issue where there just isn’t' one.
I usually stop after two attempts.

Let not make any more guessing. This is about the United States of the World. The problem here can go back to the bombing of our embassy. It shows the US is a dangerous state. Here is the issue. If you are friend with them, life is good and safe..well just as long as you don't oppose their global vision and be subordinate to their foreign policy. If you oppose them, then everything is off the table. They WILL go after you. They will use every dirty tricks in their pocket to destroy you. Iraq, Syria, NK, and now Russia and China will be a prey for them.

This is why it is important for us to have a long-term strategy to push this beast back. To show them, attacking our interest will come with a price, a consequence of unthinkable. Luckily for us, our current strength is good enough to have a deterrence against their adventurism. In 10, 20 years, I don't foresee anything less than the US willing retreat or else a global ball of fire.

Dignity is something remains on us as Chinese, those who want to sell the souls to US by following them like minions is not our problems.

Submission is not in our blood. In fact, it goes way back when our country fell to Mongolian empire. It didn't take long for us to retake back the country fate. It is a unique trait. Russian has the same mentality. It is you are born with or not.

Indeed, we have this culture since immemorial time, still remember during this, during Qin conquest? those who died un-surrendered said 楚虽三户,亡秦必楚 :D.

Well that certainly can be done, try to fabricate an incident in SCS and we will know what will happen next, I would like to see the domino effect on China, on others SCS countries and as much as on US.:coffee:
I'm sure the US military have ran thousands of different war scenarios in SCS.

That's ludicrous false accusation :feminist:
He's pretty funny. All the posters with "professional" titles are funny. Asian Arms Race? LOL

If there is an arms race, and I've mentioned this to others before--the intention is not with other Asian countries.

lol, so you finally see where I'm leading you and you want to divert the topic. Good arguing with you. Let's never do it again.
