What's new

China has been banned the access to International Space Station by America for >10 years. But today, China owns his 1st manned space station

I don't think that was the point i was making. I don't get what bitter pill to swallow you are talking about . What China has achieved as a developing country/power is admirable and to be commended, no doubt about that. I was just saying that there was no need to bring the US in the discussion and to start claiming how ahead you guys are compared to them etc . It just invites trolling, insults , etc, which just derails the threads and takes focus away from this good topic/achievement.
Moreover, not even your space officials will claim they are ahead of the US. China still has a long way to go, but they seem to be on the right track at least and have the scientists/skills and resources necessary for achieving their goals. that's the most important. The US is an old space power and the established power at that, so they obviously have lots of advantages, one with lots of experience/skills/knowledge and a dynamic private sector, so they obviously have leads in many sectors, given their track record and the fact that they have explored almost every planet in our solar system and even sent probes beyond our known solar systems. So we shouldn't make this about a competition or zero sum game. admire your country's progress, no need for inciting useless debates and trolls
We never claim CNSA are far ahead of NASA but US fanboy will claim they are miles ahead of CNSA but fact is many of Chinese space feat are achieved independently while high horse American need to look at some of the their so called cutting edge tech are dependent on others especially on Russian.
What the Chinese are yapping about is inconsequential. They know their so far behind that they have to find the smallest details to poke fun at NASA. In the grand scheme of things, NASA has achieved far more than China ever has. I mean NASA has been to every planet, put man on the moon, peered into the heavens with Hubble, and sent probes to interstellar space. China just visited its first planet.

While China sends humans to low earth orbit, NASA and SpaceX are developing the rockets to send humans to the Moon(again) and Mars…….today.
Lol.. we don't lack the tech to explore other planet as our Mars mission proven. What we need is time. Chinese spend more time to do it becos we want to achieved everything independently unlike some depend on Russian tech like ISS main core module of space rocket engine of RD-180. :enjoy:

NASA never did anything like a fully automated mission such as Chang'e 5, never landed on the far side of the Moon. CNSA has proven it can do things never attempted by NASA, i do not think there's any doubt on that part.
CNSA roadmap already mentioned going to Jupiter, doing asteroid sample return mission, lunar base, mars sample return, already working on Chinese version of the Hubble. Besides CNSA, India has already beaten NASA in terms of cost efficiency and successfully put an orbit in Mars on first try. Don't be so sour @F-22Raptor , go watch some fan made ISRO youtube videos you would be surprised how the Indians can achieve so much more for less compared to NASA.

None but does it really matter. We have unrestricted access to ISS our focus is on the moon and Mars. We have plans to build a space station orbiting the moon, not for zero gravity research but as a staging site for Moon and Mars exploration.

No one can match our lift capacity, price per ton the variety of engines, KEROLOX, HydroLOX, Methane and Solid propellants. We have 3D rockets, reusable rockets , we have sent probes to the sun, the distant planets and even beyond the solar system. We are still the only ones to have sent a human to the moon. The US is still far ahead of everyone else, we have achieved much more than anyone else.China isn't going to surpass the US not because they lack the technical skill but because the Chinese lack imagination and are risk averse. Space requires a pioneering spirit, the courage to take big risks and fail. The monolithic one dimensional CPC lack the imagination the daring and most importantly the right mindset. They are in it for the bragging rights to prove they can do what the US has already done before. They will remain ever faithful followers.

China and Chinese led the world for almost 2000 years virtually on everything, technologically, socially as well as economically.

From government organization model (with prime minister and ministry with departments), university entrance examination, meritocracy system, state statistics, customs system, post office system, daily newspaper, ID card, paper money, fire weapons (missiles, land mine, naval mine, cannon etc.). Even vaccination had the roots from medieval China. The list is endless and I do not bother to find more, but there are up to thousands of civilization elements you the West copied from Chinese, directly or indirectly through Mongols or the Seljuk/Ottoman Turks.

You have adopted/copied/stolen all these from China and claimed you invented them, but the fact remains. Without civilization elements brought by the Mongols to Europe, there would be no Europe Renaissance.

Regarding space technology, the Chinese was also the first who tried to send a man to space, using primitive rockets.

The problem for China is your way behind and you don’t have the creativity and imagination to lead in space. Your a follower of NASA/US because you play it safe. NASA is on track to return humans to the Moon in the next 3-5 years. SpaceX is on track to send its first uncrewed Starship to Mars in 2024. If that’s successful, your looking at a crewed mission to Mars by 2028/2030.

China is a decade behind NASA and even further behind SpaceX.

China lives in the shadow of NASA and SpaceX

How is China a follower of NASA? Did China follow NASA with a fully automated sample return mission from the Moon? Did China follow the US going to the far side of the Moon? China successfully completed the 3 module trajectory having put a lander+rover on Mars never done by NASA before. But since you look down on China how about ISRO? India is right behind NASA's assssssss if US don't watch out it will touch NASA's anus.

What's wrong with being behind? Americans has all the money in the world. Americans should certainly be the one that spends it on all the mistakes they would make during discovery while Chinese can relax, watch and learn. If Chinese were ahead of Americans while being poorer, what makes of Americans?

Innovation and being first is nothing when u can't commercialized it with a more affordable price tag to allow mass access.

American space shuttle is a great example. Over engineer and exorbitant price tag per launch. That is why it failed. Even the current Elon Musk SpaceX reusable space rocket are expensive compare to disposable rocket as it failed to live up the tag of 25times reuse before disposed

China is king when comes to mass commercialize a product and allow it to strived.

Quite impressive from China considering they're doing most of what the US managed to achieve in over half a century. They left China out of the international space station, China created its own! Today Shenzhou-12 and three crew members successfully launch to a new Chinese space station.

Even ISS feat is not completely achieve by US alone. Many countries contributed to make ISS. Unlike China who has to do everything by ourselves

Well done Chinese friends. Proud moment.

Look at him. His American *** is on fire.

More importantly how many Pakistani space stations?

Those who cannot do - mock :enjoy:

Congratulations to China and the Chinese. Out of curiosity, why was the LM 2 used for this mission? Was cost a factor? Or, are there some other considerations?

Are you comparing a 21 Trillion economy with a 300 billion economy? I am pretty sure anyone can launch a space station after sucking blood of entire planet which Americans have been doing since their existence.. Also had you not been busy killing Muslim for better part of last 2 decades i am pretty sure Chinese wouldn't be having their arse on your face right now. So please rather than comparing yourself with a third world country at least try to play catchup with china.
