China gets tough against Hong Kong trouble-makers

In the data provided (Form 1) over half of the Hong Kogn resident increasingly accept the concept of both "Hong Kong National and Chinese National" In other word, to those people, this two nationality status do not contradict with each other and can co-exist. However, what must be pointed out is, is this thinking is not totally a cultural takes, but also included a hints of political meaning. The author in defining the title "Hong Kong National" and its common characteristic, had recommaned the identification including the "Pan-Nationalism" In this survey, those who choose "Hong Kong national" only instead of choosing "Chinese or Hong Kong Chinese) is a charactistic of political thinking. These thinking not only prohibit the establishment of Chinese nationality in Hong Kong or even adaptation to the new identity, but can go as far to seperate in Political idea. The data show, still over 25% of interviewee lean to the seperation with China in political level.

My Chinese is a bit rusty, this is the best i can do, hope you guys understand

.
indians dont have high self-esteem in HK as far as I know. for them to rule HK is like picking a 7-11 store keeper / janitor in new york to hold office in the white house

I love Indians in HK, most of them (I guess) speak good Cantonese, especially the famous HKIndian actor [Gill Mohindepaul Singh]

.
Of course I saw that, but I still can't find the [90%] and [81.4% of interviewed Hong Kong Resident does not think or agree that they are Chinese], can you give me a hand?

The data is from Mingpao, the media you have mentioned.

The survey has 3 selections:

1.HK people (Not really like the identify of Chinese)
2.Chinese ([ex] People from Beijing: "I'm Chinese.")
3.HKpeople & Chinese ([ex] "I'm a Chinese, from Shandong.")

Is it clear?

And all Taiwanese knows that their official flag is ROC flag, that's a common sense.
Therefore I don't need to tell them, but you.

First of all, i cannot find the Graph from the link of mingpao you gave, the paragraph was there but the graph is lacking

Second of all, i am debating whether the Hong Kong people think they are of same status of Chinese, so either they are, or they aren't, what you say is if they believe they are Chinese in Hong Kong, THAT IS NOT THE SAME AS CHINESE IN GENERAL.... Hence it should belong to the group "THEY ARE NOT CHINESE" You can't say you are Chinese but with condition.

Third of all, you are still counting the number from the latter half of the 2000 well, if you keep doing this i cannot speak to you anymore as we are pointing in a different area.

Taiwanese is under ROC government control, and the flag with ROC is the taiwanese flag at the current (The government of Taiwan), unless you are willing to say Taiwan is the legit government of China, then this will not be a Taiwanese Flag, but a Chinese Flag, even i know they aren't and i don't know what is your purpose.

A Beijing guy call himself "Chinese", so he is Chinese.
A Beijing guy call himself "Chinese from Beijing", so he is not a Chinese?

They consider they are Chinese in HK, they ARE Chinese. Simple as this.
You have translated the paragraph, you should understand it already.
So base on your opinion, I can also say that "THEY ARE NOT HKP"

3.

I can't speak to you either if you are keep trying to insult me and kicking those HK people out from the "Chinese group" for strange reason.

4.

There is no such thing of "Taiwanese Flag", it is official called " Flag of the ROC", common sense.

Some Taiwanese may consider the flag as their identify even through they support the independence movement, but they also understand that their flag is a [Chinese flag].

Therefore, in HK, those people are rising "the flag of the Republic of China", not a "Taiwanese flag", in order to state that they dislike the CCP only, not their own country.

Britian (soon to be England when Scots leave) have to intention coming back. Infact, Hong kong is far productive in industry in many areas compared to London.

.
From what i see and what i heard (Which wasn't much) from my Hong Kong Firend, those people DID NOT SUPPORT the British Government or British Rules, they just frustrated and wave that thign around, same occasion some dude are waving the Taiwanese flag, it wasn't photo.

When people got frustrated they will do everything to piss the current administration off.

The lack of National Identity is not the first time happened in Hong Kong, the problem is much much more deeper than any Chinese would imagine, unless you lived in Hong Kong for an extended period.

That's not enough, everyone that is turely pround to be hongkonger should
hate the british colonizers, otherwise you are just a white wannabe.they ruled hongkong people, they send their governor to rule hongkong people and make hongkong a colony.waving a british flag is just ridiculous.

I do not believe people in Hong Kong should hate the British, they should not love the Brits, true, but why do they need to hate the British, thus i also believe, they should not hate, nor love China, you don't need to love or hate your own country to feel the national pride. Times changes and people need to move on, if you got too stuck up in the past, you will end up bittering for a few facts.

No, I just proofed that you made up the data in your prior posts .

This time they only have 2 selection:
61.8% call themselves Hong Kong people.
36.4% call themselves Chinese.

Much clear, isn't it.

LOL.......aren't you tired? Cus i do..

1.) I Guess then i will need to take your word for it............Not

2.) That's there is a problem. If you say Hong Kong Chinese is the same as Chinese in Hong Kong, then there is YOUR Problem. You can call yourselve American Chinese, Swedish American, but YOU NEVER EVER CALL YOURSELVE Hong Kong Chinese, then you would put the status of Hong Kong on par with CHina, which is NOT<> That's why you are wrong and if you cannot see it now, i can't help you.

You do realise while you can call yourselve a Chinese-American (A Chinese live in America) but You should not be calling yourselve Hong Kong Chinese (Hong Kogn is not the same status than China)

Hong Kong Chinese(香港的中國人) not equal to Chinese in Hong Kong (中國的香港人) not equal to 中國人

3._) See point 2.

4.) Wow, you have to be stupid or you know nothing in Taiwan or ROC history. The first flag is the official flag they use to REPRESENT THE WHOLE OF CHINA UNDER ROC before WW2, the flag was used as Naval ensign hence is a national symbol (You can't use your party flag on your warship as your warship do not fight for your party, they fight for your country)

The latter flag was approved in the constitution of ROC in 1947. Can you read more about ROC History before we talk again? Thanks.

Your first article [the "90%" one] didn't even have any source and you have me to find one that suit your own demand?

I have march the data from the official website, I make a reference, which you didn't, so take it please.

2,3)

No, that is OUR problem, since I also a HK ID.

and you do realize the difference between 中國香港人 and 香港中國人, right?

Same story goes to "Hong Kong Chinese",
can you accept it?

Chinese is not as same as English, especially in name style, my friend.

4)

They NEVER used [the first flag (KMT flag) to REPRESENT THE WHOLE OF CHINA UNDER ROC before WW2]
The latter flag is REALLY the the official flag.

Where did you learn your history my friend, seriously, where? Which "book"?
