China donates 1,000 firefighting motorcycles to Bangladesh

I think AG600 is more suitable.
Are you talking about an AG600 motorcycle or what? But, tell us if these motorcycles also carry portable water tank to the spot as well? Note that I have not seen a single fire hydrant anywhere in Dhaka footpaths although I am not sure if these are there or not.

A Fire hydrant must have a very strong water pressure of 50 psi or 3.5 kg/cm^2. The fire engines tap water there. A motorcycle can also do the same. Setting up Fire Hydrants as well as water supply pipelines at a big pressure is a WASA job.

I wonder what happens when WASA has not yet provided Fire Hydrants and the motorcycles also do not carry water. Motorcycles will remain idle in that case.

This UKBengali guy goes to every thread looking for chance to attack China, so you don't expect Chinese posters to play nice with Bangladesh.

Everyone gets triggered by nasty comments sometime. Nothing exclusive to a Bangladeshi or Chinese flagger (if real). I wouldn't paint things with so broad a brush.

And people CAN have bad days. No one wakes up in the morning saying, "I am going to attack China and Chinese posters in every thread today".

How many Myanmarese are here in PDF with fake Chinese flags? Quite a few....

Not saying you are one - though. :-)

.
But, accepting the donation in one hand and showing pride by telling we are not a poor country, on the other, is an uncivilized gesture.

What you expect from certain creatures on this subforum? They are thorough degenerate ingrates.

But the responses are coming from them individually, they are not talking for the whole BD. BD govt humbly accepts the donation.

I urge our Chinese friends

Ugly failed POS like you crying and urging? (says its a doctor, bitches 24/7 about BD ppl leaving for India to spend on basic medical treatment there, instead of setting up free clinic to help with that and spend time on THAT instead of randi rona here).

Listen here loser, BD members went out there to instigate all kind of chest thumping and bad talk against China and Chinese members all across the forum....especially after China backed Burma fully.

Pull up your pants and deal with it you little complaining bitch...why are you always begging and crying first thing? Man up, take it on the chin and make a stand on something instead of always "I urge blah blah friend of blah blah" and "i only mean Sanghis, not all Indians blah blah" and "Pakistan is our best ally...blah blah as long as blah blah" then you insidiously dont make any distinction when its more convenient and "friends" are not around.

You want me to point @Two and @Sanchez to what you yourself said about ALL chinese and china as whole before?...esp after those illegal rohingya got shoved up your behind back to where they came from? Just say the word.

But I think I and @Sanchez still love Bangladesh. we are looking forward to the development of the country. in fact. China will continue to support Bangladesh in economic and military terms. Just as China supports the development of Pakistan and Myanmar etc. you can see that China is increasing its investment in South Asian.

In short, I love Bangladesh as I love Pakistan and Myanmar.

@Nilgiri hey, brother, someone told me that you are a senior troll. but I absolutely don't believe it! you are a good man. like me.

As for other things. I will solve it myself. don't need anybody to teach me how to do.

Yes learn to judge Bangladesh etc, without taking members here too seriously (they all have various issues). That is my advice.

Of course they think i am senior troll lol, I showed lot of reality they wish was not there and upset their claims. The weak people in the end are those that get most upset, rather than just take the criticism appropriately.

You are just a loser with too much time on his hands who is obsessed with BD.
Still looking for work in Canada?

There is a proverb empty vessel sound much. Same applies here.

Plus some people are dark, short with pot belly and probably bald as well. So some kind of inferiority complex always works on them.

Let him waste his time but our time is precious and should not be wasted on any cockroaches.

Some people like to eat cockroaches with tea though :P

You claim you love Bangladesh, but, in the case of @Nilgiri, he claims to hate Bangladesh that causes him to troll time to time. Many of his posts are entertaining to me although many of my countrymen cannot take it easy. I think people should grow self-confidence in themselves.

This UKBengali guy goes to every thread looking for chance to attack China, so you don't expect Chinese posters to play nice with Bangladesh.
He attacks China because of its policy of supporting Myanmar when the latter tortures and torments its own citizens and expel one million of them to its neighbour only because they are Muslims. China is preying on the weakness of Bangladesh. It is an inhuman gesture. China could have forced MM to do otherwise. Actually, we are very much unable to understand the Chinese mindset. We are suffering too much because of the Chinese support towards MM.

he claims to hate Bangladesh

LOL. I like Bangladesh...just I don't like what some/many egotistic members here do. Everything applies to everyone else, but never themselves first. It is bad to have for any developing country to have this early especially.

Our people's mindset has been fixed by the extraordinary claim by Hasina Bibi that BD to become a developed country by 2041. People believe it without not understanding the essence of development. If BD is certain to reach that goal in 2041, India is already developed on the same scale with its 2 trillion dollar economy.

I think BD lacks the technology, know-how, and experience to reach developed status. However, I believe this shortfall can be made up by the FDI infusion within a limit. FDI comes with technology, experience as well as a readymade market.

Even things happen that way, it is the inefficient BD govt administration that will cause BD to remain stunted for a few centuries at least. A few infrastructure development works here and there with foreign participation or a few pockets of industries do not symbolize any real development.

This thing has been happening since 1947 without giving any tangible results so far. A systematic big-scale local participation and an efficient govt administration are what the country needs to develop gradually.

I am actually lot more optimistic about Bangladesh than this....it it just lot more of the major things will be taking place in 2020 - 2030 (rather than this current decade) to really confirm what is working and what needs work.

Bd people out there work very hard (compared to ones in here posturing and bragging and predicting etc etc)...they put head down and get on with the job and save and invest....and improve (just like new productive areas in India have learned to do). With time and experience there will be more sparks to ignite more things to broaden what BD can do...the hard working people are not going anywhere. There is only so much BAL-type ego can damage and inflict on the regular people who have families and lifetimes to concern themselves with.

The FDI money + knowhow (sparks for lift-off) will come naturally as consequence given the purchasing power and investment capability improves, broadens and anchors....then it has momentum of its own without too much intervention needed....just like discovery of fire (someone sees you got capacity to learn and teaches you), starting fire (takes effort and work and can be difficult in hard conditions) and keeping a fire going (easy once you started it). Important thing is persistence, and BD people have lot of it I feel....something will click and align up for lot more things in economy over time.

With time hopefully more free market competition also takes place in BD politics...to help regular people and businesspeople with bargaining power against the rulers and bureaucrats. This is key to bypass corruption, contain the corruption and then ultimately cut it down to minimum size....the first step always involves somehow getting the status quo power brokers to fight and compete with each other rather than cooperate and collude between themselves.

These are pretty pricey 2 wheels ! I wonder how many of these will be mysteriously written off then show up in the private hands or in the hands of the firefighters taking joy rides !

I won’t disagree looking at what happens to the Volvo BRTC buses.

To be considered advanced economy one needs certain per capita gdp or income not GDP. India is still a developing country. Little ahead of Bangladesh but it’s not uniform developing country. It has poorest stats like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh which only has around 1000 dollar per capita gdp where more than 1/3 Indian population lives and living condition is equivalent to Sub Saharan Africa. It has places like Goa, Chandigarh, Delhi with more than 4000 usd per capita GDP. Majority of states between 1000-2000 usd per capita gdp and others between 2000-3000 usd per capita gdp.

Such a country even with lots of technology will take much longer time to develop.

It has been explained number of time develop country or advanced economy concept has come from attaining certain per capita gdp by 2041. If Bangladesh can maintain 8% plus real growth between the time it is very much possible.
