I don't think you read my comment all the way through.
Good. Then you must understand Japanese govn't which refuse to apologize to Asian people for WWII, just because it was not themselves who committed the crime. You share the common value. We don't. We Chinese people are just too kind, and kind people always get no fair return.
First of all, this has nothing to do with the topic at hand, and yes, the current government of Japan has nothing to apologize for over the atrocities that the old regime committed during WW2.
Second, don't flatter yourself. The Chinese are no more kind or less kind than any other people in the world. Kindness is not monopolized by China.
OK, then let us come back to the logic. People blame the whole Islam for terror attacks mainly because the terrorists share something in common with you, like you all believe in Allah, you all read Koran, you dress in similar ways, and actually you share a lot of common beliefs on Islam. While you feel innocent and misunderstood because you think it is the different part between you and terrorists that drives them to attack, not the common part. Do you agree with me about this analysis?
Define the difference first so I know what I'm agreeing to.
You may not care about my ideas but I still want to say that, if parts of your doctrine(like Jihad on kafir) are so easy to be "misunderstood" or "taken advantage of" by terrorists, then you need to do something. Not sitting there, feeling like it has nothing to do with you. At least you need try to make your doctrine more understandable, cause this misunderstanding is deadly. It is causing hundreds of deaths around the world from time to time. Have you thought about how much sorrow the families of victims suffered? You can never, ever deny that those terror attacks are relevant with Islam, even though you view the terrorists as fake Muslims. You do have the responsibility to actively handle this mess.
I don't need to do anything, that's the job of scholars, not common folk like myself who have the bare minimum understand of Islamic doctrine.
This misunderstand of Islam isn't what is causing the "hundreds of deaths", if you'd bothered to read my previous comments (which you clearly haven't), you'd know that this theory of yours is completely false. Again, I will quote a professional source...
Pape claims to have compiled the world's first "database of every suicide bombing and attack around the globe from 1980 through 2003 — 315 attacks in all" (3). "The data show that there is little connection between suicide terrorism and
Islamic fundamentalism, or any one of the world's religions. . . . Rather, what nearly all suicide terrorist attacks have in common is a specific secular and strategic goal: to compel modern democracies to withdraw military forces from territory that the terrorists consider to be their homeland" (4). It is important that Americans understand this growing phenomenon (4-7).

I will no longer repeat myself, and if you continue to repeat this same old argument again, I will ignore you.
Well, it seems like that you just find a natural ally for each others. Congrats.
Are you jealous? Joking, this has nothing to do with the argument at hand, and seems like a lame attempt by you to pretend you're being ganged up on.
"The German people have nothing to feel guilty about, especially this generation, as they weren't involved in the atrocities that were committed under the Nazi regime. Do you feel guilty about the crimes your neighbors may have committed? Probably not. If you do, then hand yourself over to the police and tell them that you're just as guilty as the perpetrator.
To admit guilt to something that you have no personal involvement in, makes you a fool, nothing more."

I just cannot help but repost your "classic" conclusion. Let more people see and discuss about it.
Sure, I'm okay with that. I'm sure every sane person here can agree that guilt isn't some sort of disease that can be passed of to other people.
Collective guilty and punishment is a foolish concept.
