China bypasses USN Malacca Straits blockade: Myanmar Pipeline online 2013

Nice try for indians, Myanmar is not a rival for Bangladesh as indians would like to make one. Myanmar has some rouge thoughts and regime. This pipeline does increase Bangladesh importance and glad that just went over gigawatt thinking.

On the topic, this is not about Bangladesh, so don't try to derail the thread just because you have nothing to say on the subject at hand.

Junta and people share same views about Bangladesh. China depending more on Myanmar will favor Myanmar always.

Myanmar has a pro-Western anti-China faction but thanks to China's economic strength they are contained and sidelined by the pro-China faction. The Myanmar pipeline is a testament to Chinese influence in South East Asia and it's something that strikes fear deep into the heart of USA.

Our enemies asked for a spanking and once our pipeline is online we are no longer afraid of USA interference.

So once the pipeline is built you guys can start invading because you feel secure that your have your own source of energy needs without any possible blockade. Nice perception. Too bad its flawed.

 Our invasions help world peace by wiping out those nations that love to delude themselves about their greatness -- Dai Viet and Arkhand india. We will spread our philosophy of harmony and humility all throughout Asia and in the end your people will be revealed as who you really are -- mass murderers of the pre-Columbian peoples of America squatting on stolen land!

Wrong, your interpretation is flawed. Once the pipeline is complete we would not have to worry about the USN cutting off energy supplies via Strait of Malacca because when the time arises to take military action against hostile enemies we would have an alternative supply route other than the aforementioned which would see a USN blockade.

:rofl: u forgot to post pics of your DF21 with your post.

Yes, China was amazed by your and rest of indian thoughts. They were pondering why they did not seek advice from indians and now rushing to implement indian advice.

Guys we have an Echo in the Forum...now you starting to relay msg's for the Chinese?

The building of these inland pipelines is the best testament that we are a peace loving nation. The pipelines are for improving the economies of nations involved.

War is our last resort. Despite facing all the obvious provocations from the constant US led military drills in the Pacific, their building of a connecting string of military bases from S korea, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore Australia, to Thailand, and the fast expansion of vietcong's and indian navies, we carve out a route to neutralise all the evil intentions of some warmongers who need wars to reinforce their leaderships in a co-operative hegemony.

Well done China!

My interpretation is right because you think with a secure oil pipeline you think you don't have to worry about the consequences of your actions by invading other nations by being blockaded. Your pipeline is just a pipeline. How easily it is to cut off a string of thread. You cannot defend hundreds or thousands of miles of pipelines. Bombings of pipelines in ME has shown that. Don't go and start thinking you can do anything because you now feel secure.

You are thinking USN blockade = war, which is wrong. Without an alternative energy route, a naval blockade might have pushed China into a desperate position thus forcing us to face off with the USN out of limited options--but with this new pipeline we have eliminated the naval blockade dilemma so your interpretation stands incorrect, unless you are implying that the US will bomb the pipelines thus declaring war on China, which then would ensue in a massive global war. I don't think the US is that stupid nor that desperate.

Only time when U.S. blockaded a nation is in time of war. Start thinking. All the posts so far from Chinese shows arrogance and thinking they can do anything once they make a pipeline and start attacking other nations without fear of retaliation like sanctions and so on. So I am still right. I hope China is not stupid enough to start thinking like that. Japan didn't learn from its mistakes when it started invading Asia. China better learn that. Sanctions will push China to war which in turn lead to a blockade. We didn't blockaded Japan prior to Pearl Harbor attack because we were not at war yet. Understand now?

So in times of war, the pipeline will be destroyed...and again the sea will be blocked.. back to square one for china. so no invading of small countries for China.. :(

Cuba. 'Nuff said.

The US better learn to live in a multipolar world now because no longer will its untamed aggression have no repercussions.

It's a stupid troll thread started by a childish warmonger. The pipeline we're talking here is mostly is about the shortening the distance of transportation and avoidance of the Malacca Strait in times of troubles. There is no where that says China builds this for any self inflicted aggressions.

(sign) What China really needs is better representations in international arenas rather than juvenile chest thumping trolling.
