1. The fact remains. The 95% Muslim Turkey ruled by a athiest (Many tell Mustafa Kemal is a athiest) once, is still the one and only developed Muslim Majority nation with rights to all. Whats the point of being a Islamic nation (Ok, Pakistan is a flawed Islamic nation) when the people are not developed. At the end of the day, religion does not provide food for the people. They need to earn by themselves, and the job of the state administration is to provide them employment.

Religion also doesnt say that believe me and food will fall from heavens....Religion also says god helps those who help themselves....so following religion doesn not equate to pathetic nation....

2. Scandinavian countries or western countries do not follow the laws of Shariah alone in one forms of another. They still follow Biblical laws,

MOST Abrahamic religions have the same laws...at least at fundamental level....

No drinking, no pork, no gambling no fornication (are the fundamental laws in all religions which Scandinavia doesnt follow at all)

Equal rights, women rights, minority rights, democratic system, fair justice, welfare system, (are simple laws which are in every religion and Scandinavian does follow) - Hence why I said ALMOST

and Hindu texts (again 3000's years old) too quote various laws on equality of women in no uncertain terms. Throughout our history there are lots of Queens who had run kingdoms.

So did the Jews....and the Muslims had many Sahaba....even those who fought in wars, those who nursed the people, those who recited the Quran, those who memorized the Quran (basically women were educated to teach and do business)

There is a famous Tamil qoute in which the Supreme Lord Shiva tells of his consort " I am no Siva without Shakti, nor there is no Shakthi, without Siva". This mean, Lord Shiva and Mata Shakthi are same and one, and he tries to implies Man and women are equal. When Biblical laws are amended to the present time, Islam can be too modified a little right?

1) What was Lord Shiva? A human? What is Mata Shakthi? Human? if not then how are they implying men and women? again do they have the same powers? same figure? what is same that makes them one?

2) When biblical laws are amended you get allowances for fornication + adultery
you get people drinking and driving -either dying or killing others under the influence
you get people robbing for drugs or gambling (large casinos to feed the multimillionaires while the normal man becomes poor or rich based on his luck or cheating in the casino
the poor ending up in suicide or worse....and other crimes....

Sorry but no way do I want Islam to walk down that path! Look how "modified Islam" has taken a toll under the disguise as ISIS...that is misogynist pimps with guns trying to bend words

3. Its not a point of blaming a religion sister. Blame the South Asians right cos our culture was like that. But India, SL, are fastly changing with times.

it is because our culture was like that is why Islam is being maligned! Culture seems more impo to many over religion!

But the question is, other Islamic nations are giving equal rights to womens? No.

Do you want to put some light on their culture pre-Islam? Iran, Afghanistan or even Pakistan few decades back was all tolerant. Now?
I am not blaming Islam for it, and lets say they do not follow true Islam, but why the people are silent about it?

1)was all tolerant? well much better than now yes...

2) why people silent coz they have gone back in jahilah era and started pooja their culture...

pir system where you ask pir questions from the quran over asking a scholar...

Jinnah was the founder of Pakistan he was not the prophet of islam that if he done anything against islam we should follow him blindly. We have our role model and he is Hazrat Muhammad saww. Quid a azam was a great man but we should follow our prophet saww first.
