Gotta love women in uniform. I have my wife's military pic with her big cap in a frame. Too bad it's black and white. She's a stern looking Nazi/Commie.

Women in uniform is a goddess. You have to respect that man, even tho if she looks like Nazi/Commie...…...

Interesting tidbit about Jack Nicholson on a recent show I was watching "Billions," he wasn't in it but the star of the show (Damien Lewis) is a big-time trader on Wall Street and he was telling his people how his favorite Beatle was George Harrison who wasn't only a Beatle, he was a Traveling Wilbury and he and Tom Petty would sit around while writing songs and would name a famous person and depending on that person's accomplishments, they would classify him as a "Wilbury" or "not a Wilbury." First name that came up was Jack Nicholson and they looked at each other and said..."definitely a Wilbury!" Richard Dreyfuss? Great actor, but not a Wilbury!" lol.

L-O-L!

Didn't watch billions, I heard of it, and I like Damien Lewis before he was in Band of Brothers and Homeland.

You didn't like him in Band of Brothers? I can see that a little bit because he had to play Richard Winters and if you listen to the Winters interviews, he wasn't exactly a rah-rah kinda guy, more so boring and a regular fella but what a leader and what a great story/series that was. Loved every minute of it especially the 1st couple of episodes where they were training and had to deal with Sobel and that character played by David Schwimmer was outstanding!

Homeland...not so much but he did play a very interesting character. The one thing that bothered me tremendously was the lack of research they did on how we Muslims pray, and when they showed him praying in his garage, he was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. That was a downer. Had they got that right, it would've made it much more realistic but they botched it to no end. And it's not that difficult to understand it and mimic it, so I was disappointed in that part.

Lol, no, I think his acting in BoB is okay, I am just saying I watched Damien Lewis before he was in BoB, there was a movie called Warrior in the UK, he is pretty good playing a commander in a recon squadron in that movie

I have met Dick Winter in person before (the actual Dick Winter) in some WW2 functions (I was in the 82nd Airborne) The only thing I notice is that he is quiet and quite tall and both of us have lived in Hershey.

I have not met Damien Lewis, but I think he actually overplayed Winter, winter is very, very humble person. But I think the TV series quite demonize Sobel. Sobel is tough, but most considered him a fair person, which is what a typical Company CO would be. Yes, the charges he lay to Winter did happens but he wasn't that bad after all, and many 506 member actually appreciated how Sobel train them into tough SOB.

I think Lewis did a pretty good job playing Brody in Homeland, well, not really a Muslim so I am not sure what you are talking about, but his performance is the major source of suspense coming from the first few seasons. I stopped watching Homeland after he was killed off. I think the story then just goes to normal CIA drama afterward.

Damian Lewis is quite an actor actually, you should go watch a movie called "Colditz" that feature him, Tom Hardy (Mad Max, the new one) and Laurence Fox and Sophia Myles

He played a through and through baddie in this movie...
