That’s not called celebrating. We didn’t hold events for them nor participated in it. And since when was Ramadan taught as part of the school curriculum like lgbtq is?
No Muslim is shoving Ramadan down anyone’s throat.

Also since the topic is respect, not attending an event you don’t agree on is the most respectful way to avoid it. Do you want Muslims to show up to lgbtq event and start fighting them because we don’t wanna bend our religion and compromise on our beliefs?

Canadians have the freedom to choose what they want to do or not. Lgbtq is free to choose to participate in what they want. Muslims are free to choose to participate in what they want.
